Always wanted to be play Dungeons & Dragons, but didn't know exactly how or where to start? Perhaps you've played a while, and you're ready to take the plunge and lead your own group of brave adventurers. Either way, this instructional course is for you! For one hour I will review the basics of how to play a character in any D&D adventure, or teach you how to be a Dungeon Master in your very own campaign. The secret is - well, you'll have to sign up for that! Technical tips like - + Creating and roleplaying exciting Characters and NPCs with diverse personalities + Hardware tips + Using Discord successfully + Using Virtual Table Tops + Using StartPlaying.Games to start your own business! I have been playing and running games for over three decades, across all editions. For training purposes this course will focus on the latest edition of the most popular roleplaying game in the world, but as stated the concepts learned herein can be applied to any group story-telling game. I welcome Players and Dungeon Masters of ALL experience levels to this training session. Check out my current campaigns!

About me
Hi, I'm the Solar Jedi! I go by Solar, Jedi, GM or DM, (or Gregg). I am the head proprietor of Sixth Planet, my online gaming group and related store. I have been playing D&D for over three decades now! My favorite thing about D&D is the idea of creating a shared story together, which as a pass-time, has just narrowly avoided becoming a lost art! I am a fan of classic High Fantasy D&D, with settings similar to Faerun, Greyhawk, Dragonlance and the like. Conan meets Beastmaster meets LotR. I like to provide a balance of Role Playing, Exploration, and of course, Combat! I do character voices and accents and have been known to sing a sea shanty on a special occasion! I am a collector of fantasy miniatures and terrain for use with my games. I have thousands of miniatures, from tiny to colossal! I also craft, 3d print and paint. I enjoy setting up huge and immersive 3D scenes for my games! We have played in the dungeons beneath Waterdeep, in jungle terrain along the Sword Coast, in the frozen wastelands of the North and in the fiery depths of the Abyss!
