Creating your character
Character sheets should be created on D&D Beyond and may be either 2014 or 2024 rules-compliant. Winds of the City is intended to be run by Level 5 characters. NOTE: Players who choose to play a Level 4 character may also be permitted a Special magical item. Character sheets are subject to approval prior to Session 1. Edits may be requested for balance.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have the following: - A steady internet connection - Discord account (https://discord.com/) - D&D Beyond account (https://www.dndbeyond.com/) - working microphone for voice chat - working webcam (optional)
What Eeps brings to the table
"Winds of the City" is a magical mystery where players find themselves in the midst of an ideological conflict. As the DM, I believe in a mix of the "Rule of Cool" and the "Rules as Written." The Rules guide us and provide a general framework for gameplay, but the goal is to tell and participate in a compelling, entertaining story. My job is to help make that story as enjoyable as possible. I tailor the play environment to the players and the table as a whole. Ambient music can be a great tool with some players, with others it can create an uncomfortably complex auditory environment.

How Eeps creates a safe table
I encourage players to be open and direct with any subject areas, content, or themes with which they are uncomfortable or which may be triggering for them. Pre and post-game check-ins with the group, combined with ready availability on chat and an ongoing conversation in a campaign Discord.
