Creating your character

You may use DnD Beyond to create and store your character if you wish. We will play via Discord for audio and Foundry for everything else. You may import a DnD PC into Foundry or create and store it there.

Preparing for the session

You only need to bring yourself, a decent headset and web browser, and a willingness to play well with others, both in and out of character. No evil characters or players, please.

What Kristin brings to the table

I prefer Rule of Cool but can be a stickler if that's what the party desires. I expect courtesy from the players to other players, and I will set that example to everyone. I sometimes add in music and sounds, but that can be difficult for some players so I don't always utilize that feature. Although I'm not great at voices and accents, I do strive to play the NPCs as they should be played with interactions that are as believable as can be, and hopefully with a bit of comedy thrown in where possible as well.

How Kristin creates a safe table

I'm willing to be very flexible on this point. If you have anything you have an issue with, of any kind, just let me know here or in Discord (private messages are just fine if you don't want anyone else to see/know). If you'd rather do a different kind of check-in, etc., we can do whatever. I'm not into horror, descriptive monologues of abuse, etc., and whatnot, so I won't be bringing in a lot of downers anyway. Monsters, sure, but mostly straightforward and nothing worse than you'd find in Lord of the Rings, for example. Just let me know if there's anything I can do to make your game more enjoyable for you.
