About the adventure
The Dog Walker Adventure (and the accompanying Arkham Investigator Wallet) from the HP Lovecraft Historical Society won 2 gold ennies in 2024. Now the experience has been brought into the digital world! Explore the contents of the wallet to discover a mystery that starts when 12 year old Charlotte Foley witnesses something strange while walking Bigby the Basset Hound. Call of Cthulhu is the world’s best roleplaying game of mystery and horror. In Call of Cthulhu, you take on the role of everyday people who become investigators of the unknown—whether they are prepared or not. The mysterious places, people, and situations you encounter are often not what they seem—you and your friends are the only thing standing in the way of diabolical cults and cosmic monsters from beyond space! This is a learn-to-play scenario, ideal for beginners. Pre gen characters will be provided.

Creating your character
There are 5 pre-generated investigators to choose from, including Charlotte Foley, the Dog Walker. The roster of available investigators will be in the discord channel, link sent when you sign up.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Audio over discord (an account is free). You will need a mic and headphones. Be aware if there is too much background noise, you may be asked to switch to push-to-talk. Log in to Foundry using the link provided (no account needed). Please note that a laptop or desktop computer is required, as Foundry does not work well on a phone or tablet. Bring excitement and a fun attitude to learn how to play Call of Cthulhu!
