About me

Once upon a time... From the time that I first discovered the written word, all the way to now, two and a half centuries later, those words still give me a thrill up and down my spine. I consume, devour, the written word as a person starving. When I was first introduced to tabletop roleplaying (at the ripe old age of 8), discovering that I can create stories through shared imagination, I was immediately in love! Since then, I have played and ran many game systems. I was a tournament dungeon master in the Roleplaying Gamers Association many years ago (till it changed ownership and I fell away from tournament and con DMing). Everyone is welcome in my party, as we explore all the many vast worlds out there! Jason (he/him)

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation is based on standard 7th edition creation. Depending on which timeframe we decide, as a group, to play in, I will provide character sheets to everyone.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All you need to show up with is, pencil and paper if you want or need, and microphone/speakers/headset. If the group wants to play with video, then that is perfectly acceptable!

What Jason brings to the table

My games are heavy with roleplay. I believe in making our stories immersive and engaging. There will be visual aids, tokens, handouts, maps, etc. DM rule is the final arbitration. I don't abuse or ignore the rules of the systems, but if I need to bend something for the sake of enhancing the experience and the story, I will. This will never be done at the detriment of the characters or players. As Gygax said, the rules are more guidelines, DM's discretion is the final rule.
