About the adventure

Ready to plunge into the murky depths of madness and mayhem? The chilling streets of Montréal are calling your name! Join us for an unforgettable adventure penned by Brendan Lahey, where a twisted tale of terror awaits. The once peaceful neighborhood of Rosemont is now haunted by a shadowy figure known only as The Rosemont Ripper! Can you solve the mystery before it's too late, or will you become the next chalk outline on the cobblestone streets? Following this first adventure, embark on a few mysteries or more set in war-time Montréal. The only thing standing between you and insanity is time and a few unfortunate rolls. ------- Greetings! This is the first game in the Marvelous MiniSeries, a series of old and/or interesting games and/or fun games I will be running for a group of dedicated players. Come join for a session or 3 and enjoy the strangeness of this spoopy RPG!

About me

🦎 He/Him 🦎 StartPlaying's resident roleplay expert, with over a decade of experience performing, directing, and teaching theatrical improvisation. Based out of Montréal, Québec. Aside from running RPGs, I also offer roleplaying workshops and coaching sessions. If you would like to commission a session for you and/or your players and/or other GMs, please DM me. Or keep an eye out for my free webinars! I'm also a published children's author. I run weekly volunteer games for neurodivergent youth. I can play the piano and ukulele. I beat the final boss in Elden Ring. My favourite apple is Mcintosh. If you enjoy a bit of humour and a focus on growing your character and the world around your character, we're going to be like two peas in a pod. Or two goblins in a cave. Or two owls on a branch. Or two bananas in one peel - which is quite rare, but can happen.
