About the adventure
This game has had a bit of a soft-reset after losing a campaign-important PC. Several of the older players are using their old characters, but you should somewhat swiftly catch up, with the catch up XP. As of 2/22/2026 the PCs have between 2200 and 4100 experience. (with the lower two getting a couple hundred Catch up XP every session) This is a custom made, often self-directing, campaign—there will be hooks around you in to engage with, but in the end, it is all your choice on what you do, where you go. That being said, i do have events unfolding in the world, and whether you engage with them or not, they will eventually impact you. Currently our group makes their way towards Karak Kadrin, delivering a daemon trapped within a rune-trap for safe keeping. This currently takes them through Stirland with the intention to cut through Sylvania. What will they find in the Realm of the Vampire Counts? Step into a world of Warhammer Fantasy. Where dark, perilous adventure endangers more than just your life; the Ruinous Powers seek to corrupt your soul into their destructive embrace.

Hey! I'm Dyer, I've been playing RPGs for over 30 years, my older brother started playing them with me before i hit double digits and I'm familiar with a wide variety of games. I am a progressive, non-adversarial GM that believes in player agency and table safety. I also absolutely love teaching people new games, and thought this would be a great way to do that.

Creating your character
Begin with 300 XP. No Ogres at this time. Character Creation will be RAW, we'll make characters in Foundry utilizing the robust and powerful charactermancer they have built in. Usual system of creation includes a mixture of randomly rolled and choice build (the more things you randomly roll the more experience you start with, at the cost of building exactly what you want). New Characters will gain "catch up xp" at the end of each session.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Knowledge of the System is helpful but not neccessary. I, and several players, are knowledgable of the system and can help new players with any questions. Have a Mic and access to discord and an internet connection that can support audio play while connected to foundry! (Pretty minimal reqs in my experience and we can try and troubleshoot any issues if they come up!)

The above CW are most likely things to be seen throughout the course of the game, Warhammer is a Grimdark system and setting, that being said feel free to reach out if you have concerns and I can see how easy I will feel avoiding a specific topic I expect may come up throughout play and we can determine if the game will be a good fit for you! Link to Lines & Veils will be available! Session 0 will discuss game vibes (grimdark and perilous), discuss any concerns and do character creation.
