About the adventure
This is a boss battle with a small adventure before hand! These are all oneshots with no interconnected stories but the characters you take into them can gain items and boons that carry over to other one shots I run, as well as keep any lore, info, Roleplay, or story they've encountered. Very new player friendly and a great way to test our character builds. With rolling of dice you can use your own physical dice, D&Dbeyond, Talespire, or however you wish to roll but should I at any point expect cheating it ruins it for all of us and we all have to use dice I can see.

Heya Hiya! I started playing D&D when I was around 12-14 and it quickly sparked something in me. From then on I quickly developed a love for story telling, TTRPGs, and LARPing. I've been DMing since sometime in early highschool when I would skip my lunchtime class to run a entirely homebrew game out of the school library piecemealed together from what I could remember of my friends D&D books and what I had to make up on the spot and write down What I bring to the table is a friendly and approachable atmosphere, an ability to think quickly on my feet and improv and build the world around the players no matter how off course they go from the written story, and a enthusiastic willingness to work with what the players want to do within the story

Creating your character
Characters should already be made. Use standard array/point buy. Take average health. All official races and subclasses available. If you want to use 3rd party or Unearthed Arcana just ask so I can make sure it's all balanced!
This is a level 12 character oneshot. New characters start with 1 very rare, 2 rare, 3 uncommon, 3 common magic items and 2 Greater healing potions You will get a brief scene to introduce your character before they are pulled by magic to a battlefield to faceoff against a boss monster alongside allies
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need their own mic, access to discord and to join the discord group I run the game from, access to browser internet and to create characters at the appropriate level. Talespire from Steam will also help, but I can also stream the game into the discord for anyone who doesn't have it downloaded.

Homebrew rules
-Potions can be drank as a bonus action. If you drink a potion as an action you heal the full amount it can heal whereas if you drink it as a bonus action you still have to roll for the heal. -When you Crit you deal max damage you could roll on your normal dice + You roll your normal dice. For example a crit on a greatsword would be 12+2d6+your other damage modifiers.
