About the adventure

This campaign uses the Beast Feast Campaign Frame. A cozy village sits atop labyrinthine caverns full of dangerous yet delicious creatures. For centuries powerful magic had protected the village from monster incursions but now that magic is weakening. Monsters are starting to venture to the surface again, endangering your fellow villagers. Brave souls are needed to venture below and restore the protective magic. Resources are extra scarce in this village with not even a crumb to spare. So anyone venturing into the caverns will have to forage and hunt to sustain themselves. In this 1-10th level campaign, you'll get the chance to: • Delve into twisting caverns • Fight strange and horrifying monsters • Cook them up and create delicious meals • Uncover mysteries of the world below • Restore an ancient magical artifact Tone & Feel: Absurd, Comedic, Creepy, Fun, Lighthearted, Silly Touchstones: Dungeon Meshi/Delicious in Dungeon, One Piece, Monster Hunter

Character creation

Creating your character

We'll use the character creation tools on Demiplane to make starting characters before the first session. Players are also welcome to choose from pre-made characters as well. You'll be playing as hometown heroes just setting off on an adventure for the first time.

The current party

The party just reached level 5 and is deep in the Plover Caves where they've come across an old fishing village.

What to expect

What Mike_d20 brings to the table

I see tabletop games as a great opportunity for catharsis. We're here for different reasons maybe to learn something about ourselves, turn flaws into strengths, explore new aspects of yourself, or just escape from your daily struggles for a while. Whatever that is for you, I want to help bring it out in this space and have a good time while we do it. Additionally I provide visual aids and detailed maps as needed. I also select music for each session that's played through discord so we can all jam to some appropriate tunes.
