About the adventure

Elevator pitch Ever wanted your tabletop games to be more story focused? Have great ideas for character arcs that never come to fruition? Want more imput and control over the world, NPCs and pre-planning events? I run tandem storywriting style play by post games similar to online roleplay (à la: tumblr, shipping, fanfiction roleplay and rpnation rather than originating from D&D and other tabletop roleplay). This allows the player as much or little control over the world as desired. This style is best for proactive players, those trying their hand at writing fiction, gms wanting to experiment with co-gm dynamics, people with a story to craft and those willing to play/write as multiple characters when needed. Play by Post Play at your own pace. Pay at the start of the week. You are guaranteed one page of text per week minimum in posts and responses. Please be aware that the length of posts will be adaptive to the speed of your responses, any need for establishing description, dialogue and dramatic weight of scenes. Story Heavy, Rules Light I am most comfortable deferring to the dramatic needs of the story instead of rolling dice. I will often ask what the most interesting result of risk, conflict or violence may be and discuss how players would like it to follow through. If players absolutely want to leave it to chance, I can discuss what level of risk they would like to have, lay out some possible results and roll some dice to inform a result based within the realism of the world created and player preference. This can be tweeked and customized to our hearts content. Functionality OOC (out of character) discussions occur over discord including notifying each other when we've finished a new post. Posts are made by adding text to a google doc. Guaranteed by the end of our campaign, you will have a complete piece of your own fiction (From multiple perspectives) to reread at your leasure as well as any lore and backstory created for the roleplay. Fully Customized This listing is being left open to fit any genre desired by the player. I will provide a set of initial session 0 questions about player preferences, world creation, genre desires, arc expectations and campaign length. I will endevour to fulfill these things set out at the start and keep us at a good pace for the number of sessions asked for.
