About the adventure
🏰 Waterdeep, the greatest city on the Sword Coast, the City of Splendors and the Crown of the North. It is also a home to dragons, a treasure trove of them, and half a million has gone missing. 🪙 Dragons, as gold coins are called in Waterdeep. And when such a hoard is unaccounted for, all sorts of ne'er-do-wells are bound to go looking for it. 🗡️ Join an urban adventure of intrigue, betrayal, trickery and good old fashioned dungeon crawling. 🐲 And when the Dragon Heist is over, the Yawning Portal and the Undermountain awaits to deliver the gauntlet of a lifetime. 🎲 Beginner and veteran players alike are welcome to join a long-lasting party and campaign, where adventurers of humble beginnings shall reach the pinnacle of their potential - or die trying.

Gameplay details
While this adventure is mostly light-hearted fantasy fun, conflict and combat-oriented games can always touch on sensitive subjects and it's important to make our boundaries clear, so that each of us can feel safe and relaxed. We will go over safety tools, consent, and how the party will get together in Session 0, and at the end of each session we can discuss what went well and what should be improved. I will also send out a consent form in which you can let me know what content you don't wish to see in our games. This is a newbie-friendly game, I will help with the mechanical and rulebook-sides of the game, you just need to tell me what your character would like to do. 🎲

How will character creation work
You can use any officially published book for character options, but homebrew content must be approved by me. We are using the Point Buy system for this campaign. (https://chicken-dinner.com/5e/5e-point-buy.html) This adventure starts at level 1. If you're new to DnD, I'm happy to help with all the jargon and creating your first character. 👀 You can also keep your character sheet on any platform or even on paper. Same goes for rolling, physical dice are welcome, I won't stand between you and your clickity-clacks.
