Creating your character
The characters will all be on level 1 and will be made with the point buy/standard array. You can choose to either pick your starting gear or buy everything from scratch. You will be able to create your character on session zero.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need to have a Discord account and a working mic. You need to download Fantasy Grounds in order to play. Since this is an introduction campaign, this game will be focused on roleplay rather than crunchy rules! Be mindful of other players needs!
What Leo brings to the table
My games are more focused on roleplay rather than rules. I prefer rule of cool above anything else! Since D&D5e is a great system for introduce to your friends, this is the opportunity you needed to bring more people to our hobby! As a DM my focus is to create a great environment where the players feel comfortable to roleplay their own characters. I use Fantasy Grounds as a VTT platform, and sometimes use Roll20 only to play background music. You won't need a Fantasy Grounds license to play. I already have the Ultimate License, the campaign and the rulebooks you need integrated on the VTT.
