Ilvermorny/Harry Potter: LGBTQ+ and Beginner Friendly
Welcome to Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a place of magic, wonder, friendship, and something more sinister hiding underneath.
About the adventure
Step into The Haunting of Greylock, a Harry Potter-themed TTRPG set in the 2010s at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This magical academy sits high atop Mount Greylock, where the stone is old, the air is thin, and something beneath the school has begun to stir. You begin your journey as a first-year Ilvermorny student, wand freshly chosen and future unwritten. Explore the spell-lit corridors of America’s premier magical institution, from floating study halls and dueling arenas to the whispering trails of the enchanted northern forest. Attend classes in subjects like Herbology, Charms, Potions, and Defense, each taught by professors with secrets of their own. Navigate a dynamic student life filled with rivalries, friendships, Quidditch games, and school traditions both ancient and new. But something isn’t right. Some students wake with memories they don’t remember making. Some disappear altogether. Rumors of ghost sightings, strange symbols, and impossible shadows are brushed off by the faculty. In the quiet places beneath floorboards, behind mirrors, between dreams something watches. Something waits. The Haunting of Greylock is a blend of magical school slice-of-life and creeping, character-centered horror. This is a coming-of-age story built on mystery, memory, and the strange beauty of growing up magical in a world that doesn’t always feel safe. Each of your choices matters academically, socially, and emotionally as you build your identity and uncover the truth behind the long-buried secrets beneath the mountain. So pack your robes. Breathe deep the chill of Greylock air. Your wand is ready, your name is on the roster, and the train is about to depart. Welcome to Ilvermorny. But tread carefully. Some things below were never meant to wake.

About me
I was pulled into the world of TTRPGs in 2018 and have been hooked ever since. I started out as a player and have dabbled in being the GM on a few occasions, for my friends. I love writing and creating stories, and after some very heavy encouragement from my little group of pals, I've decided to share my story with the world. I am Neurodivergent (Autistic), LGBT, Gender Diverse, and POC. I am very very accepting to people of all walks of life. I offer respect to anyone who will freely give it in return. I try my best to create an accepting environment for everyone as much as possible.

Jordan is one of the best Game Masters I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing with. They have an incredible gift for making every player feel seen, included, and truly welcome at the table. No one ever feels left out—whether you’re a veteran of many campaigns or brand new to the game, Jordan creates a safe, collaborative, and fun environment for all. Their storytelling is immersive, their pacing is spot-on, and they always make sure every character has a moment to shine. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier GM experience.
Jordan is an incredibly fun DM who encourages player creativity and adapts the game based on our actions. I know this from my own experience playing chaotic characters who often create problems due to their clumsiness or lack of common sense. Jordan ensures that I have a great time while making sure that the enjoyment of other players is not compromised. He helps you create a character that feels tailored to you, complete with a wand that reflects your style. I highly recommend Jordan as a GM; he is fantastic, and you won’t regret giving him a try. He truly brings magic to the wizarding world!
Jordan is hands-down the best GM I have ever played with. He is very considerate and generous when it comes to character building and interactions in general. He also an amazing story teller and no matter what makes the session go smoothly and makes it enjoyable for everyone within the campaign. 10/10 I have told my friends to join.
I’ve been playing with Jordan for years now (wow time flies!). The games have always been a pleasure to be in. Jordan is a fantastic story teller and creates worlds for you to explore with so much depth that the only issue you’ll run into is not having enough time to do it in the first place. In addition to that, Jordan is very accommodating, being able to introduce folks newer to the tabletop scene seamlessly while also being able to create a challenging, but rewarding structure for all the veterans out there. Overall, you won’t regret jumping in and playing an active role in carving out your own story. Create a backstory as rich (or simple) as you like and watch it come to life as you live your character’s highs and lows throughout their time at Hogwarts or any other world. In the words of the great sage Shia LaBeouf – Just Do It!
Jordan is an amazing DM who creates a rich, immersive environment through exceptional world-building and storytelling. They let the players steer the story without stonewalling ideas and are always open to new concepts for characters. Playing in their games feels collaborative, engaging, and full of possibilities. So much fun!
Ive just started in a couple of Jordens campagins but when I say I think you should absolutely choose to play in ome of their games I mean that. I've played in a few games on startplaying and I highly recommend Jordan. Jordan's games are so fun while also feeling inclusive and safe at the same time. If your looking for someone who's also an amazing storyteller and feels like they want you to be apart of the world they have created, Jordan is perfect. If you join one of their games, I promise you won't regret it!
Character creation
Creating your character
We will be using the Wands & Wizards Rulebook in tandem with my own Homebrew rulebook linked here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BY7U9mYLQD_p9O9e42AYLHG2Xr6ZCsR8Ye07MaGXfVw/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.frfwms2htyde The setting of this game begins in the fall of 1966. You have just recieved your Hogwarts acceptance letter and are a bright eyed and bushy tailed 11 year old ready to start the challenge of becomming a talented Witch or Wizard. We will workshop together to create a dynamic character with their own personality, quirks, likes, dislikes and backstory! I love going in depth with characters, so please add as much detail as you like. Please keep these ideas in mind when coming up with a concept! -What does your character LOVE? What Interests them? -What do you want your character to Excel in? -What do you want your character to be BAD at? -How does your character want to be seen by others? -What kind of goals does your character have? -How will they take the initiative to achieve them? -How did your upbringing affect the way you look at the world? -How do they go about making friends?

How Jordan creates a safe table
*About Me* I was pulled into the world of TTRPGs in 2018 and have been hooked ever since. *GM Style* RP Style: I try to bring my NPCs and settings to life as much as I can. I heavily enjoy in depth backgrounds and world building. Combat style: I love combat and tactics! In my opinion, combat is a game of skill, but it should also be fun. Perhaps you'll die, or perhaps not! I do not ever fudge my own rolls, (LAME) and I'll always give players as much helpful advice during combat if they need it. Rules: I love working within the set rules as much as possible, however I absolutely encourage creativity. If it works and it makes sense its most likely to be a yes! Warnings: This game WILL include harm to children. Your character will be between the ages of 11-17 during the duration of the game (Except for the planned epilogue as adults), and will experience the failure to be protected by the adults around them. In addition, they will be exploited and manipulated by authority figures, so please be aware of that. Now, there will be a build up in the intensity of these things as the game goes on, (So we will not be starting with the worst possible first) there is a high likelihood of some pretty triggering content as the game progresses. Please keep that in mind! Adult Content: I do not allow explicit content at my table. However, I do encourage romance. There will be limits and boundaries around what is acceptable at what age (Given that you are playing children), but certain interactions will be accepted or denied based on the appropriate limitation for their age. Please keep this in mind while playing! SA and any illusion to it is not allowed. Whether in game or in backstory. *Safety* Everyone's safety is my #1 priority. I believe that D&D should be a welcoming space for all, and I will do whatever I can to make sure that is a reality. I am always open to feedback on safety and what I can do be more accommodating. I encourage everyone to be open with me about their needs and triggers so I can avoid them as much as possible, and please don't ever hesitate to remind me or correct me about things!
