About the adventure

An expedition into wonder, ruin, and the jaws of a forgotten land. Kaul’Zeruun is a place the world forgot—or perhaps a place the world was meant to forget. Only recently revealed through strange magical phenomena, this vast, jungle-choked continent seethes with ancient beasts, unstable arcana, and ruins that predate even the oldest empires. Now, a daring settlement called Last Ember clings to the edge of this wild frontier. Its walls are thick, its wards strong… but nothing can keep the jungle at bay forever. You are not novices. You are seasoned adventurers—mages, warriors, relic-hunters, and outcasts—tasked with taming the unknown. Magic is abundant, powerful, and often unpredictable. But so is the land. Kaul’Zeruun remembers. It pushes back. Civilization is not welcomed here—it is tolerated… for now. This is a game of high magic and grim survival. Powerful spells and divine gifts are at your disposal, but the world around you is just as potent—and just as cruel. Exploration, faction intrigue, ancient mysteries, and creeping corruption will test your party’s strength, resolve, and morality. Your choices will shape the future of Last Ember… or mark the next forgotten page in Kaul’Zeruun’s long, hungry history

About me

I really enjoy playing and dming dungeons and dragons games with like minded individuals. I have been developing a world for awhile now and I am looking for players who really enjoy the role playing aspect of dnd as well as really enjoy turning the world into something that the players can be proud of during their adventure. I really am looking forward to seeing this story come to life and can't wait to see what characters you will bring to the table.

Safety

How Travis creates a safe table

Safety & Session Practices This campaign blends high-magic adventure with grim survival and dark fantasy themes—which means intense moments may arise. To ensure a fun and respectful experience for everyone, we’ll be using safety tools before, during, and after play. Session 0 Topics Our Session 0 will cover: Party expectations and tone Collaborative character ties and backgrounds Key setting concepts (factions, survival elements, magical weirdness) Safety agreements and communication tools How we’ll handle PvP, secrets, and character death X, N, & O System We'll use the X, N, and O system during play, either via video gestures, chat, or private messages depending on the table setup. X = “I need to pause or stop.” N = “I’m not okay with where this is going—let’s shift.” O = “I’m good, even if things are intense.” Players are always encouraged to speak up if something feels off—even retroactively. We can rewind, reframe, or skip as needed.
