Creating your character

Characters are pre-made, using the characters introduced in the Star Trek Adventures 2nd Edition Quickstart Rules book, or made by me to serve as secondary characters for the session. If the need arises, characters can also be made on the fly to provide all players with an opportunity to participate in the scene.

Preparing for the session

A free Role account will be necessary (http://app.playrole.com/), as will a free Discord account (http://www.discordapp.com). Experience with dice-based TTRPG systems is appreciated, but not necessary as rules will be taught during play.

What Gerald brings to the table

I will bring with me an enthusiastic attitude, lots of transporter mishaps, and plenty of fun to the Final Frontier! I also bring with me a gaming community full of great weirdos. My Discord channel is full of fun people who love gaming in all its forms and fun conversations take place daily. We also run Community Events every month to bring new experiences to the table!

How Gerald creates a safe table

Content warnings are non-comprehensive, due to the nature of a bunch of people coming together to hang out together while playing a game. Conversely, the content warnings are not a guarantee. We may go the entire session without ever touching any of these subjects - again, due to the nature of a group of people coming together because of a shared interest. If something comes up during a session that makes you uncomfortable, there are many ways you can make that known, including X- and N-Cards. You will never be expected or pressed to share your trauma history with anyone else at the table; simply saying "X this" is enough to change direction of the session.
