About the adventure

The realms are in peril. But more importantly… the brand is at risk. You're not just adventurers—you’re entry-level franchisees for the most (in)famous adventuring corporation in the multiverse: Acquisitions Incorporated. With clipboard in one hand and sword in the other, you're tasked with building your own franchise out of Waterdeep, taking on quests, crushing rivals, collecting revenue streams, and maybe saving the world (if there’s time). Filled with: Corporate absurdity and parody of fantasy tropes Dungeon delving, rival firms, and mysterious clients Internal HR nightmares and possibly eldritch outsourcing Your mission? Grow your brand. Expand your territory. Don't die (too much). And never forget to file your quarterly reports.

Character creation

Creating your character

Level: Start at Level 1 – you are fresh hires or field transfers. Creation Tool: FoundryVTT – you’ll receive a link with access to all relevant sourcebooks, including Acquisitions Incorporated, etc. Or DnDBeyond if you prefer with the beyond 20 extension. Franchise Roles: You’ll select a Franchise Role (like Obviator, Cartographer, or Loremonger) during Session 0—these are separate from class/subclass and give fun corporate-themed powers. Stats: Point Buy or Standard Array only. Allowed Content: All official WOTC material is allowed. No UA or third-party content unless discussed. Session 0 Includes: Setting your franchise HQ (haunted tower? cursed bakery?) Deciding team dynamics and corporate hierarchy Backstory ties to the Acq Inc universe or rival franchises

The current party

Paladin, Cleric, Fighter, Warlock
