It is a realm untouched by time, where gentle rivers sing lullabies, and towering oaks cradle the dreams of the spirits who call it home. You are one of these spirits—guardians of the Wild Heart, beings born from nature’s magic, taking the form of tiny Kodama-like wanderers, mischievous wind sprites, or moss-covered protectors of the old ways. But something stirs in the roots. Corruption seeps through the trees, twisting flora into withered husks and turning once-harmonious creatures into frenzied shadows of themselves. The great Guardian Trees, ancient beings older than memory, have fallen silent. A dark force seeks to shatter the balance and claim the forest’s magic for itself. You and your fellow spirits must rise to defend your home. Through clever trickery, nature’s gifts, and the bonds you share, you will outwit poachers, appease forgotten gods, unravel ancient riddles, and face the darkness that lurks beneath the boughs. Some will seek to heal, others will fight, but all will play a role in the story of the Vagabond Souls. About me
Hi! I'm Tauthiri (she/they), a 28-year-old Dragon Manager (DM) who discovered a deep love for tabletop roleplaying during the pandemic. Like many, I started with D&D — and like many others, I was the “chosen sacrifice” who became the forever DM. Luckily for me, it turned out to be one of my favorite roles in the world. ✨ Since then, I've had the chance to play a bit, but DMing has always felt like home. These days, I run a local group focused on creating a safe, welcoming space for women and fem-aligned folks to explore TTRPGs — no need to bring dice, books, or spend money to get started. Jumping into this hobby can be intimidating, especially for people on the margins, but (if you ask my players) I’m doing my part to make it easier, safer, and more fun. 🌸 I adore storytelling in all its forms — from books and films to musicals and TTRPGs — and across genres, from fantasy and horror to anything weird and wonderful. Creating your character
Character creation should be completed before the first session. Your character will be a level 1 forest spirit in D&D 5e, set in the world of Humblewood and inspired by the magic and whimsy of Studio Ghibli. Stats should be determined using the 4d6, drop the lowest method. Characters should be created on D&D Beyond—the campaign link can be found in the prepped materials section and on Discord.

Preparing for the session
A webcam and microphone are required, along with Roll20, D&D Beyond, and Discord accounts. Characters should be created beforehand, and players should have a basic understanding of the rules. However, if you need help, feel free to reach out—we can schedule time to go over everything together!
What Tauthiri brings to the table
I run a Master-tier D&D Beyond game with tons of unlocked content, immersive maps on Roll20, and a fully integrated Discord with bot support for smooth gameplay. Expect character voices (all vaguely Scottish, but passionately delivered) and curated playlists to set the mood for every scene. We’ll be using classic D&D 5e rules, but at my table, Rule of Cool is treasured—if it’s epic, creative, and fits the story, we’ll make it happen!

How Tauthiri creates a safe table
Lines and Veils will be collected from each player, collated and displayed in the discord for all to see. Session 0 will be a free 15-30 minute 1-on-1 with the DM, just to make sure you are up on the safety tools being used, the tone and vibe of the campaign and that you are ready to roll as your character. X, N & O's will be able to be communicated to the DM privately via discord.
