About the adventure
It has been almost five decades since the Reaper War. While some of the mass effect relays within council space have been repaired successfully, most across the galaxy are currently still inoperable. Regardless, time moves forward, for most people this just meant picking up the pieces and making the best of things. Before the war the Artemis Tau Cluster was barely explored, a perfect place for pirates and mercenary groups to hide from the law. During the war, this specific cluster recieved a lot of attention from the Shadow Broker, who invested heavily in mining, manufacturing, and archeological efforts within Artemis Tau. Proteus, a planet in the Athens System, was home to the largest colony in the Artemis Tau Cluster: Ithaka. This campaign takes place, at first, largely on this oceanic planet. It is the multicultural capital of Artemis Tau, being a key piece in what helped the people of the cluster survive after being isolated from the rest of the galaxy. This game is open to players of all skilll level, whether you are brand new or a forever DM. Some level of Mass Effect knowledge is preferred, but you probably wouldn't be here if you didn't already like the series.

About me
I've been running games for a little over a decade, having started with Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition. That is to say, this is something I've poured my heart into for most of my life. Breathing life into the world that player character's inhabit is my specialty; with me, every little thing can become a moving piece in the plot. Backstory is also incredibly important to me, so if you're looking for a character focused game, then I'm your girl. I aim to create an inclusive and comfortable table, as I myself am a member of the LGBTQ+ Community.

Creating your character
This will hopefully be a level 4 to 12 campaign, but it could go shorter or longer based on player interest. All character creation will be handled as a group during session 0, but thinking of general ideas before than would help us streamline things. FYI - If you're hoping to play a prothean it might get a little dicey, but I might be able to make it work. Species from Andromeda will not be allowed.
This game will likely not have combat every session, so keep that in mind.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
- Mics are 100% Required. - I do not require webcams (as I personally do not own one + I'm locked in on my notes and VTT.) - Stable internet access is required, obvs. - We'll be using Discord for voice during sessions. - Owlbear rodeo can be used on phones, as well as computers, so any device should be fine.
What AAHHAI brings to the table
As a dungeon master I strive to make character focused drama a priority, if I'm doing my job right you should be hooked on the story of your character and those they interact with. I try to stick to the rules, but if it assists the telling of your story I can forgo them sometimes. I am basically free 24/7 because I'm a master of multitasking, so I tend to include downtime elements for anyone who wants just a little more out of the game than the sessions can provide (this would be free, of course.)
