About me

Hi! I'm a writer and hobby illustrator who loves fantasy, horror, and sci-fi. My poisons of choice being D&D, anything related to vampires, pirates, and all things fae/fairy related! I treat table top games as escapism and a way to relax, an outlet of self expression or pure indulgence anyone can have. I have a fluffy little maltipoo named Pearl who lives in my ever-growing collection of a plushy pile and I ADORE blind box dolls/figures. All are welcome in my realms; as a queer woman I want to make my table a safe space for all players and only ask you respect that diversity and unique identities are a part of fiction as much as they are in reality.

Character creation

Creating your character

Player's should all be level 8, all races and classes are welcome. Magic items (besides armor) are limited to 3-4 per player, only one can be of the Rare category, nothing stronger. You can have up to two pieces of Common-Uncommon magic armor. If anything is homebrew please give me notice so I can approve it ahead of time. Please come with character sheets ready, you can make your sheets on dndbeyond, as pdfs, or roll20 as long as I can see them. If you have a preference let me know and I'll make a link to a dndbeyond campaign for you. Pdfs should be sent in dms or over the server channels. I would like all characters given to me before the day of the game or at the latest 3 hours before we start. If a player needs help making a character feel free to reach out as long as it's not the night of the game!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

-Don't wait until the last minute to join the discord server since the game-call is in that server! -Webcams are NOT required, but you must make sure you have a mic if you want to talk! Discord is NOT a mic, make sure your computer has one already -As long as you can hear us, texting in/out of character is OKAY! I will read your lines for you :D. -Please have a roll20 account ready to view the map

What Soleil brings to the table

A Present for You!🎁 🎨 As a thank-you for playing my games, I'll make a small drawing (chibis, doodles, meme template ect.) of all player characters who finish the game the night of session the week after we play. See my profile pic for an example of my work. 🖼️ Normal DM Offerings: Access to D&D 5e content, maps to play around in, background/battle music, NPC voice/character acting, a place to escape from the real world and be whatever-or whoever-you want to be. 😊 I'm a roleplay lover always encourage character interaction as you will be cooperating over the strange rules of this house the whole night. And of course: [Expect the unexpected! I love a good bit and always have a trick up my sleeve 🤞

Safety

How Soleil creates a safe table

After signing up I'll send players a google form where any and all triggers they may have are privately disclosed. This form or a talk with me over Discord is mandatory to play. I advise all players use the XNO system via dming me or in text channels in the game server/roll20. All games will have a bathroom/snack break around halfway in no matter what. During this break I will move you all to a map called "The Doodle Room" where you can draw for fun while you wait! NO NSFW ART IN THE DOODLE ROOM IS ALLOWED. Games will end in discussion about the session, and feedback between GM and players so we can all decompress and learn for the future <3.
