About me

Hi! I'm a writer and hobby illustrator who loves fantasy, horror, and sci-fi. My poisons of choice being D&D, anything related to vampires, pirates, and all things fae/fairy related! I treat table top games as escapism and a way to relax, an outlet of self expression or pure indulgence anyone can have. I have a fluffy little maltipoo named Pearl who lives in my ever-growing collection of a plushy pile and I ADORE blind box dolls/figures. All are welcome in my realms; as a queer woman I want to make my table a safe space for all players and only ask you respect that diversity and unique identities are a part of fiction as much as they are in reality.

GM Style

My games have a focus on story and character interactions that are complemented by combat, rarely will I host a boss-rush and never will I do an EXP grind. I try to make unique settings and NPCs and encourage roleplay, I CAN and WILL do voices but if it's a deep-voiced man you'll have to trust me when I say that's what I'm going for (Girly Voice Curse). When entering combat, I make each encounter based on the story and characters like any GM would. I like to push my players sheets for their limits/potential but will pull back if I see they're struggling. I am a fan of the "combat ends when the narrative is good, not just when the health-bar drops" method when it fits a scene. I tend to do homebrew settings more than run books, but I have access to a bunch of them if needed. MY favorite so far has been The Witchlight Carnival book, I made a whole Halloween one shot based on the opening chapter. I am a "rule of cool unless it's obnoxious" kind of GM, in my games we'll follow the rules but not to an absurdly strict degree since we are playing for fun! Awesome moments over stonewalling! But I also want my boundaries and the word "No" respected. I will GLADLY give your character their moment and bend the rules if you aren't asking for something that clearly goes against my established groundwork.
