About me
Header art by Xy https://twitter.com/xylavie Howdy there! I am a professional actor with experience in both voice-over as well as musical theatre! My hobbies outside of ttrpgs include video games, and singing. I've completed 9 campaigns (five modules and four level 1-20 campaigns), ran 700+ sessions online and in person, and I have 6,000+ hours on Roll20 since 2018. A taste of my voice acting range: https://www.kevincouto.com/ A feel of my tables: https://youtu.be/_zBgfGHD35w My Stream Clone Wars Campaign: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnhAe1iC6P5AaXONG1s_6BQY6QVW2vC2F I started playing tabletops with D&D around late 2017 and fell in love with it. As time has gone on, I've learned my way around more systems and my friends were encouraging me to dive into DMing for them, and here we are now! I currently run a Star Wars 5e stream campaign set during the Clone Wars called "Revenge of the Crit" that's over 90 episodes and counting. My favorite thing about DMing is being able to collaborate and come up with a compelling and fun story with a variety of players. It's also a great outlet for me to practice all these voices and storytelling. I am all about making a campaign experience not only suited for the group but will also leave everyone satisfied. Most of my experience running and playing is with either D&D 5e or Star Wars 5e so either of those systems would be the systems I use for the games I offer. I look forward to sharing memories with you at the table! ❤️

Kevin is an awesome DM. He took our group to level 20 in the Dragonlance adventure that was only supposed to go to level 12. His ability to continue the adventure and keep it very interesting and engaging for the whole party was amazing! Kevin's voice work always impresses me, making an the NPC's interesting from being frightening and comedic. If you're looking for a DM who will create a awesome story with you he's the one to pick!
Kevin is a great DM. With a range of impressive voices to help immerse you into the characters you meet, and an inclusive pacing that ensures everyone gets a chance to interact with the situation. I've had a lovely time playing at Kevin's table, and I look forward to the adventures still in store.
Review for Our Game Master Having played under Kevin from 4 February 2023 to 9 March 2025, I can confidently say this was one of the best D&D 5e campaigns I’ve ever experienced. Taking us from level 1 to level 20 with minimal hiccups is no small feat, and he handled it with skill, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to making the game enjoyable for everyone. One of his strongest qualities as a GM was his openness to compromise. He never treated the rules as a rigid system meant to stifle creativity but as a framework to enhance the story and player experience. If something needed adjusting, he was always willing to listen and find a fair solution. His rulings were consistent, logical, and, most importantly, fair—making every encounter feel balanced and engaging. The campaign itself was a testament to his ability to craft a compelling narrative while giving players the freedom to shape the world. The story was rich, the challenges were rewarding, and character progression felt meaningful. He kept the game running smoothly, ensuring there was always something exciting on the horizon without dragging things down with unnecessary complications. If you’re looking for a GM who values player agency, runs a smooth and engaging long-term campaign, and genuinely cares about everyone at the table having a great time, Kevin is the one. I’d absolutely play in another campaign of his in a heartbeat.
Just finished session one and my expectations were blown out of the water. The voice acting was incredible, everything flowed perfectly, and it was super user friendly. This is what a professional at work in every sense of the word. The group melded well and i can’t wait for next week.
Character creation
Creating your character
Anything from the official source books is fine, all homebrew is subject to my approval. This game uses the 2024 rules. Starting Level is 10. If you have a character in mind already you may use that. For generating stats, you may use either standard array, point buy, or one of the additional following options: 7·9·11·12·15·18 8·9·11·13·15·17 5·6·8·16·17·18 7·9·10·14·16·16 Youre character also gets - 500 gp plus 1d10 × 250 gp (can be used for healing potions, spell components, and basic Equipment) - Two common magic items - Three uncommon Magic items - Normal Starting Equipment Backstories can be however long you wish, preferably not more than 2 paragraphs. A google doc, word doc, or however you wish to write it, long as is it pinned in our personal DMs for me to revisit should I need to. For HP you may take the average or roll for it. I allow rerolls on 1s and 2s
- Free Session 0 - Uses 2024 rules - First session will not commence till we have minimum 4 players - Once booked, please reach out to me on discord. My username will be in the prep materials - Current party loadout consists of level 11: - Fighter - Warlock - Cerlic/Fighter - Ranger

What Kevin Couto brings to the table
I will provide maps for when combat is occurring, at all other times we will use theatre of the mind. I also use a music bot to add further immersion in various scenes. I also provide quality voice performances to enhance the characters, monsters, and environment.
Homebrew rules
- Drinking a potion for yourself can be an action or bonus action. Force feeding a potion to an ally is an action. - Any healing from spells or potions outside of combat is automatically maxed. - Flanking grants a +2 bonus to the attack rolls, not advantage on attack rolls. You cannot gain the flanking bonus if your adjacent ally has a negative condition. - Silvery Barbs and Simulacrum are banned from use. - Conjur Minor Elementals cannot be upcast - We use the 2014 counterspell with the alteration of the final line from the 2024 counterspell. - The Legacy version of Inflict Wounds is ok to use with 2024 rules. - Stealth checks are made at a point in time when you can be caught, not before. - Multiclassing prerequisites can be ignored. - Any 3rd party homebrew material is not allowed without express permission. - Milestone leveling.
