About me
I am a dungeon master with 6 years of experience including numerous one-shots, official and unofficial modules, and custom campaigns completed. As a storyteller, I love the idea of collective storytelling and I love the challenge of creating a malleable plot and setup that allows players to do anything with it. I was in love with the ideas of TTRPGs long before I knew they existed. I used to play make-believe games when I was 5 and the daydreaming never stopped. It just found a medium when I discovered D&D and I have been developing my own system as well. My group of friends and I have been playing together for more than 2 years despite being in different countries and we stream it on Twitch as well. LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming to all people. I can't wait to play with new people and see what they bring to my table.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
Visual Aid
Voices
I have been playing with Jay for a couple of months now. He is a great storyteller who draws your character into his world. His visual aids help you see your character is seeing and he fills out all the NPC's with unique voices. He is patient with players and allows for creativity that fits the story. I look forward to finishing my current campaign with him.
If I could select all the tags, I would. Had a phenomenal first session with Jay, the virtual tabletop was beautifully constructed - I've never played through this medium before. He did a great job creating an immersive atmosphere. Open, ready to work with you on your character and all around a good guy. Looking forward to continuing the adventure!
Hey, team, if you're looking for an amazing, open-minded storyteller, Jay is your guy. He's willing to work with character choices, and allows players to role play to their hearts content. He's knowledgeable, creative and an all-around great story teller. Any questions, or discussions on actual play, he's willing to listen and give advice. 10/10 would play with him again.
Jay's an awesome DM! He is certainly your guy if you like the feeling of a more traditional tabletop experience. He uses a tabletop sim, and I love how it feels more like what you would experience at an in-house game! Jay also puts on fun voices and usually keeps some ambient music or sounds to immerse you in the session. If you enjoy a good tactician to go against in combat, Jay provides a great challenge, and I think it's one of his main strengths! All-in-all, you'll def have a fun game with him, whether it be a one-shot or a full campaign!
Been playing with Jay for about 6 weeks now, and it has been a blast. I started in the middle of the campaign, and he seamlessly wove me into the story and got me up to speed. He streams the games through Discord which is super cool, and is always down to explain rules and such which is super helpful since he runs 2014 and I was more familiar with 2024. Would definitely recommend Jay as a DM.
Character creation
Creating your character
► The character creation will happen before the first session, aka during a collective or individual zero session. ► All official core and supplementary D&D "CLASSIC 5e (2014)" material is allowed. Players can reconfirm with the GM. ► The DM will offer needed material if players don't have access to any official Core or Supplementary Rulebook. ► Players are not allowed to bring any kind of Homebrew Material. ► The DM will help personally to create the Character Sheet and will provide a PDF copy if the players can't build one themselves.
Character creation will be done before session zero. The DM will help you through the character creation process if help is needed, and the DM can generate a PDF character sheet for you. We're using the 2014 rules, rather than 2024, so please keep that in mind during character creation. When we sit down for session 0, we'll go over (or create) our characters, discuss any soft or hard boundaries in terms of campaign content, and get to know each other. This way, we can truly hit the ground running at the start of the campaign. No advanced reading is needed beyond getting familiar with the rules of your chosen class/subclass.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
► Must have a good functioning mic ► Using a webcam is encouraged to make the game and roleplay more immersive, and engaging, and for the ease of social cues. ► Players must acquaint themselves with the additional rules provided by the GM on Discord Server. ► Players are not required to be pre-familiar with D&D rules, but they must have a concise and well-thought-out character concept and background story within reason.
