About the adventure

What: This is a campaign on the planet of Krynn with a unifying quest that brings all of the player characters together to defend free will and fate itself. Personal quests are a major theme, as are henchmen, hirelings, and followers. When: 730 PM EST every other Monday (Next session is March 31st). Where: Foundry VTT through Forge hosting, and Discord for voice/text between sessions. How: By joining on StartPlaying! Who: Experienced and aspiring players are both welcome. Why: You seek a well-organized, immersive campaign with a professional game master and like-minded players. Character Creation Details: Dungeons and Dragons 2024 Player's Handbook rules. Point buy ability scores, background with origin feat, any PHB species, class, or spells. 5th edition subclasses may be permitted on a case-by-case basis. As of 31 March 2025 characters are 9th level, and have an additional 5000 gold to purchase equipment (such as magic items) in addition to their background, and class starting gold. Characters additionally have a FREE custom artifact (created with the GM), and the option to take an 8th level sidekick (expert, spellcaster, or warrior.) Table Details: House Rules (Golden Rule: Treat others as you want to be treated, Red Rule: Mind control cannot force characters to perform acts that make players uncomfortable, and Rule of Cool: If the rules do not support your actions we can discuss the possibilities.) Safety Tools (Player driven breaks, lines [🍇 and SA do NOT exist in my universes], and veils [Torture, erotic scenes, or violence towards children may occur but will cause a "fade-to-black" in a scene.]) You can find other TTRPG opportunities on my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/comfortablegrey Art is credited to @greeneyednymph and @branmarz Background Photo by Steven Kamenar on Unsplash

About me

Hi, you can call me Eli and I love RPGs. I do not limit myself to the d20, I think the thing that has made me a strong gamemaster over the decades is playing as many TTRPGs as possible. I would love to explore new worlds and dimensions with you, or craft some together! My focus has always been the connection between players and the tales we tell without limiting our imaginations. My favorite games to play are Mage: The Awakening, Savage Worlds, and Fabula Ultima. My schedule is full, but if you are interested in gaming with me feel free to send a DM and hopefully we can work something out!

Creating your character

What to expect

Preparing for the session

At minimum, players will need a microphone and Discord. I highly recommend the use of a computer, but a tablet or smartphone will enable play as well. I ask that all character concepts are submitted to me at least an hour before a session begins. I can generate a miniature for your character, but sending me art of them will help bring your vision to the table. Dice rolling is possible through Discord, as well as the virtual tabletop. I do permit players to use A.I. art for their characters, but I DO NOT use it for my own art assets.

What Elijah brings to the table

I will be bringing the entire game: rules, sheets, dice, maps, miniatures via the "Foundry VTT" software. There will be pregenerated characters, but a part of the fun will be the opportunity to make them your own, or make your own!

Safety

How Elijah creates a safe table

All my games use the following home rules: Golden Rule (Treat Others As You Want to be Treated), Red Rule (Mind Control Cannot Force Characters to Perform Acts That Makes Players Uncomfortable), Rule of Cool (If the Rules Do Not Support Your Actions We Can Discuss the Possibilities) As part of my open door policy players should feel invited to express discomfort, or praise at anytime during a session. Lines We Do Not Cross: 🍇 , SA (These DO NOT EXIST in my universes) Veils: Sexual encounters, torture, violence towards children (If these come up they occur off-screen) Breaks: At anytime that you need a break there are Foundry modules to facilitate that, or feel free to message me, or speak openly in the session. After the session I like to discuss how the game went for everyone: what you liked, and what you think could be better, in the form of "Stars and Wishes." These can be for me, the tabletop, or other players.
