Call of Cthulhu, Pulp Cthulhu | Campaign

Warning: Game may not start today
It may be too close to this game’s start time, or this game may have too few players to start today. This Game Master needs at least 24 hours to prepare for a new player to join and at least 3 players to start the game today. Joining now may not leave enough time to set you up.
About the adventure

The Crawling Chaos beckons. Nyarlathotep, the Messenger of the Outer Gods, weaves a tapestry of madness, a web that ensnares the very fabric of reality. He offers… revelation. A glimpse behind the veil. The year is 1925, and a global conspiracy is brewing. A cult dedicated to an ancient evil is rising, their actions rippling across continents, their influence seeping through the shadows and bringing darkness to the world. You, a group of intrepid investigators, find yourselves drawn into a web of intrigue, danger, and cosmic horror. Seeking answers, you chase shadows across the globe, from the mountains of Peru, through the bustling streets of New York City, into the fog-choked alleys of London to the sunbaked sands of Egypt, through the decadence and dark underworld of Shanghai, the tropics of Kenya and the baking heat of Australia. Join us in one of the most popular campaigns ever written for Call of Cthulhu.

Game style

Roleplay Heavy

“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

Theater of the Mind

“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.

Tyler is a great dm who has a great setup on Foundry and knows his stuff. His setting is amazing and it's apparent he's put a lot of work into it. They're patient and knowledgeable so if you're on the fence I would say give them a shot!

Tyler is a fantastic storyteller. He encourages creativity and free thinking in his players even if the ideas being bounced around are poorly thought out.

I've been playing TTRPGs for over a decade at this point and Tyler is the best GM I've ever played with. He knows the games inside and out, tells great stories and is a really good guy.

Tyler is a super nice guy! I really like his DM'ing style, he cares as much about the story as mechanics, sets a great mood, and is very accommodating to his players. He is exceptional at communicating and does a good job of ensuring everyone gets a chance to be in the spotlight. I would highly recommend him

Tyler knows World of Darkness in general and Mage 20th Ascension in particular inside out. Learning something new on any conversation and session is an understatement. Reachable and available via DM, I would recommend him to any player be it beginner or experienced.
