About the adventure

These words are engraved on the guildhall doorway of the Slayer's Take, the greatest monster hunters in all of Exandria! No foe is too great if the price is right. If you walk away now, that’ll be the end of it. There’ll be no adventures for you... But, if you accept this contract, you will explore fantastical lands, you will track ghastly monsters, and you will harvest rare components. And then... then, we’ll drink! 🗺️ Track: Before you can slay a monster, you’ve got to find it! With rules to give structure to the trials and tribulations of exploring the wilds and enhanced exploration encounters no two journeys will ever feel the same as you travel the dangerous unknowns of Issylra. ⚔️ Hunt: Face of against unforgettable foes and extraordinary monsters! Each contract will present a unique challenges to overcome and conclude with an epic multiphase boss battles set in fantastical lairs ensuring each battle is engaging with many tactical options to uncover. 🛠️ Craft: You've researched the beast, tracked it to its lair, and dispatched it with deadly efficiency. Now it's time to chop it up! There is no greater honour than for their bones to be picked clean so that they can live on in a myriad of magical mementos. From magical equipment to delicious meals you'll never look at a monster corpse the same again! 🍻 Revel: Return with your spoils to the city of Vassselheim and engage in the wonders the city has to offer. Grow and expand the Slayer's Take guildhall form a meagre drinking hall to mighty fortress with the new Bastion system, allowing each character to add their own personal flair to the guild.

How to prepare
To prepare for this game you will need to have a Discord account with microphone set up (video optional) as well as a Roll20 and D&D Beyond account. Basic knowledge of the D&D 5e system is advised though not mandatory.

Gameplay details
Consent Forms will be provided during Session 0 to help establish what each player is comfortable with happening in the game. Each session will have a planned 10 minute break during the mid point and players will be encouraged to provide feedback after the game. This can also be done privately if a player has an issue or sensitive topic they wish to discuss. Racism, Sexism, Ableism, Transphobia and Homophobia will not be permitted at the table or in the group discord.

How will character creation work
Character creation will take place during session 0 over Discord. Ability Scores will be selected using Standard Array or Point Buy System. Character Sheets can either be hosted on D&D Beyond or Roll20 depending on player preference. All WoTC and Critical Role published supplements are allowed with additional 3rd Party content available upon review.
