About the adventure
Golden Girls meets Murder She Wrote with a hint of eldrich horror. You are a murder mystery book club full of grannies. You love murder mysteries so much, you help solve them in your sleepy New England seaside town. This is a collaborative storytelling game where you roleplay grannies, interview suspects, make a theory, and hopefully solve a murder. There are minor supernatural elements that when played as a campaign can create a larger eldrich meta-narrative. But for the most part, this is cozy TV of yesteryear. There are opportunities to "cut to commercial," rewind and choose a new path, and engage in a cozy activity to heal yourself. If you are looking for a game that is more cozy role-play than combat then Brindlewood is the game for you! Utilizing the Powered by the Apocalypse system. About me
I am a professional voice actor with 20 years of improv acting. I love both the collaborative storytelling of TTRPGs and the more gritty game elements of some systems. I tailor my approach to meet the needs of every table. Ultimately we are telling a story together. I love being surprised by our choices and character moments.

Creating your character
Characters can be made very quickly. We will do this at our first session. Moves are the most complex so maybe read over before we start and pick 2 you might want as no Maven can have the same move. What Luke Zwanziger brings to the table
I am an improv comedian with 20 years of experience. As the keeper for this game, my role is to provide your characters a place to bounce off, theorize, and play. The mystery is not fully predetermined and your actions will lead to a theory which the dice will then determine the accuracy of your theory. This is a unique mechanic and worth noting due to its novel approach to determining outcomes. As the keeper, I will help adjudicate the level of difficulty of the theory and clues found. My biggest goal is to allow you the space to explore while keeping our time on track to finish a mystery every session.
