Planescape: Turn of Fortune’s Wheel | Saturdays
You're dead. Or... you think you remember dying...
About the adventure
The multiverse is everything known and everything beyond. Encompassing worlds planes, life, and death, the multiverse’s infinite infinities brim with wonder, terror, secrets, and—above all—possibility. You're dead. Or... you think you remember dying... You awaken on a metal examination table in a dim, windowless stone chamber. The air is cold and stale, tinged with the acrid sting of formaldehyde emanating from a nearby shelf of clouded flasks and antiseptic jars. Dried blood stains the drab, mosaicked floor and the edges of your table, and pained moans haunt the halls beyond the stuffy room. A human skull floats nearby. It bobs impatiently, watching you with slate-gray eyes that remain in its lidless sockets. The skull notices you’re awake and greets you with a nasal voice. “Hey, Chief!”

About me
I've loved D&D ever since I first experienced it in the 80s. I've DMed many full campaigns and many, many one shots. I love this game and how it brings people together for social fun from any geo and demographic. I am friendly to all demographics and insist that my players are likewise. If you want to be chaotic stupid, engage in PVP, or ruin the fun for other players, I'm not your DM.

I wholeheartedly recommend Bruce for anyone who enjoys a good game of D&D! I’ve been playing with Bruce for quite a while now (66 sessions as I write this). His style as a DM is excellent. He provides plenty of roleplay opportunities along with challenging combat each session. While not in session, he is invaluable with character creation, giving tips to help your characters reach their potential without sacrificing your vision of your character. His homebrew adds fun and interesting options to the game, constantly evolving to keep it fresh. If that’s not enough, he runs a Discord channel full of knowledgeable folks who are happy to help. Give him a try, you won’t regret it.
Bruce is a terrific DM who cares about the player community he builds -- fun, safe and welcoming for new or experienced players, supportive, creative, story telling, he includes players in the world building, uses rule of cool... He checks all the boxes. There's a reason his players keep coming back. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
I had a great first game session with Bruce. He took a lot of time to explain everything to newbie-me. The game was a ton of fun and I can't wait to come back for another round. Update: I've know played through an entire campaign with Bruce (60 sessions or so) and it was absolutely FANTASTIC!! He's an amazing DM and this was the best campaign I've ever played in. Highly, highly recommended!
Awesome help for the new player that worked with us and kept the session moving. Master of the rules! Has great homebrew additions for this west marches style set in Icewind Dale. Based on Rime of Frost Maiden but one-shot style allows plenty of options for character growth and experimentation.
Character creation
Creating your character
Rules as written for all published content on DNDBeyond.com. - Start at level 3 - Ability Scores: Point Buy - No legacy content - All non-legacy content is allowed including partner content - No homebrew except mine which I use to flesh out rule gaps - Starting Equipment: use starting equipment rules normally for your character plus one common and one uncommon magic item from the DMG. If the magic item's base item costs more than 50 gp, you have to pay the cost over 50 gp. - Factions, piety, downtime, crafting, and bastions will be used but will come into play during game play, not during character creation.
FYI, this campaign won't start until my current Saturday IWD campaign ends which has 1-2 more sessions.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need a mic, Discord, Roll20, DNDBeyond, and the browser extension Beyond20. Have your player character made 1 hour before the session and DM me with it so I can get your token setup in Roll20.

How BrunoDiaz creates a safe table
I do not allow PVP or people ruining the fun for anyone else. Negativity toward any real world demographic is not allowed. There are more details on the lines and veils in my Discord server. Generally, I keep everything PG-13 or less and prefer that players do as well to keep the experience fun and inviting for all demographics.
