About the adventure
Under raging storm clouds, the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stand silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind's howling increases as he turns his gaze down toward the village of Barovia. Far below, yet not beyond his keen eyesight, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms the barest hint of a smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they came - all according to his plan. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, but Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited. A gothic horror campaign set in the dreary land of Barovia, the first Domain of Dread, home to the first Darklord. How AthenaxVio creates a safe table
Details and gameplay will be discussed over the Session 0, character creation can also be done here but doesn't have to be. Expectations for the game and rules will be discussed so that everyone feels comfortable during play and can have a fun time. Absolutely no bullying, sexual harassment, racism, hate speech, queerphobia, or prejudice will be tolerated. Any player that engages in these behaviors will get one (1) warning, and if the behavior continues you will be kicked from the game and you will not receive a refund. There will be a mandatory 10 minute break halfway through the session for bathroom, refilling drinks, snacks, etc. but always feel free to ask for a break at any time. I have an optional feedback survey for the end of the adventure.
