About the adventure

What's that? You're looking for a game with pre-made characters, that involves mystery, suspense, fighting monsters, and saving innocent townsfolk, that is wrapped up in one session, and you can drop in with your friends any week? Now that you say it out loud, it does sound pretty neat! Okay, let's do that. Hey there! I'm Elle and I'll be running three of my favorite modules from Candlekeep Mysteries, Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel, and Keys from the Golden Vault. Most of these are modules made for level four adventurers, but a few will dip into higher levels. I get it, sometimes its hard to jump into a new game or campaign. Even keeping up with your own character on top of family, work, school, and other obligations can become tiresome. Each of these modules can be completed in one session, and the pre-generated characters are fun and easy to pick up. This is a perfect game to invite your friend that keeps making excuses to join your campaign! New to Start Playing Games? Use this link for $10 off your first game! https://startplaying.games/referral/cl75nvsl7180609midvge6ve0? 📖Candlekeep Mysteries (CKM) 📖 The grand library attracts scholars like a flame attracts moths. Historians, sages, and others who crave knowledge pursue the vast collection of books and often hire adventurers to solve the mysteries within. Will you cross the doorway to adventure? 🧙 Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel (JRC) 🧙 Travelers from across the multiverse flock here to share traditions, stories, and call for heroes. Enter through ethereal mists to a magical city with connections lands rich with excitement and danger. Where will your journeys take you? 🗝️ Keys from the Golden Vault (KGV) 🗝️ A secretive organization seeks operatives to perpetrate dangerous heists! These missions require careful planning and flawless execution. Are you willing to risk everything for the reward of a lifetime? Drop in or one, two, or all of the adventures!

About me

Hey new friends! Long time player of tabletop role playing games (with a gap where my life was taken over by military service and corporate America), I ventured into online GM-ing during the global pandemic. Baking my own bread didn't work out, but this has! Hosting games has been such a wonderful adventure for me personally, allowing me to keep in close contact with friends and relatives, to nurture a creativity that my work and life had put on the back burner, and (quite unexpectedly) make new friends on each adventure. Before GM-ing, I led small groups of 4 to teams of 200+ in both the U.S. Army and Fortune 100 companies. The skillsets I learned in order to juggle competing priorities, create dynamic and adhesive groups, and foster individual growth are skills I bring to my gaming table. The majority of my games are hosted in a homebrewed world and follow DnD 5E rules. At my table you will easily find life-long players with decades of experience smiling and cheering on those who are taking their first steps into roleplaying games. I lean heavily into collaborative story-telling and love to create lore around my players, as their backgrounds flesh out and enrich the world. While overarching campaigns may take us on adventures of world shattering consequences, many adventures are simply a fun night out with friends. 🎥 An adventure mashing together plot hooks from every Nicholas Cage movie? Let's do it! 🧟‍♂️Want to turn your favorite bed time story in a survival horror game? I got you! ⚡Just need an excuse to speak in a funny voice and spam Eldritch Blast? There's room for you here, pal. And if you don't see a game that fits your schedule, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll help get a game started or matched for you. Got a group a friends ready to go and just need a GM? I'm available for private one-shots and campaigns for groups of 4+. Can't wait to roll dice with you soon!

Character creation

Creating your character

Games will be capped at five players per session, and I will provide six pre-generated characters unique to the adventure of the week. Characters are first come, first served. Upon booking I will share which characters are available. If you do have an adventurer already made, and would like to play that character, please message me. I'm happy to import into Roll20.

The current party

The Okra Project will receive 100% of the booking for this adventure. The Clockwork Lullaby is a level five adventure. Centuries ago an evil spirit was locked away in a children's book and thrown in a cellar to be forgotten about. When a group of new scribes get assigned to catalogue forgotten books in the cellar of The King's Library, they soon find themselves trapped with no way out. Pre-generated characters are available, or you can bring your own level five adventurer.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

While a webcam is not required, a working mic and headphones are. All games will involve soundtracks, effects, and abient noise. Not using headphones will detract form your and other's experience. You will need an account on Roll20.net (free), and access to Zoom.

What Elle McIntire brings to the table

I will provide the maps, tokens, music, effects, lighting, and players will have access to my entire compendium on Roll20. Each adventure is granted to my Discord server for group discussion, anti-GM scheming, and session recaps via memes. I also record each session on zoom (for my own notes), and am happy to share upon request.

Safety

How Elle McIntire creates a safe table

All sessions will begin an introduction to lines and veils. I am also available before the session, if you would prefer to discuss boundaries in private. One 5-10 minute break is planned for the middle of the session -- gotta refill on snacks!
