About the adventure
Consumed by the mist, you find yourselves lost in the dreaded lands of Barovia, ruled over by the vampire lord Strahd Von Zarovich. Will you rise to the occasion or die forgotten in the mist? _______________________________________________________________________ Welcome to my game of Curse of Strahd! My name is Thomas, and I’ve been a DM for about 5 years and playing TTRPGs for about 15. All skill levels are welcome, be it complete beginner or long-time player; I try my best to accommodate everyone. As your DM, I’m looking forward to showing you my favorite module, edited with popular community homebrew, and some tweaking of my own to give you the best possible experience. I try my best at voices/accents and firmly believe in committing to the bit. I love adding in personal backstories to the game, and I love making fun combats or engaging role play. This module is not for the feint of heart, there are some truly gruesome depictions in here. Having said that, I try to make it a fun experience. Looking forward to exploring the dread lands of Barovia with you!

How to prepare
A decent mic is needed, access to discord and a web browser for owlbear rodeo. Music will be done trough YouTube links and are 100% optional.
What I provide
I will bring: - Ambience and music - Highly detailed battle maps My personal DM style, I like to reward creative takes on ability/spell usage, within reason. In games, I try to mix combat and role-play as much as possible, as I love running both.

How will character creation work
I use the new 2024 rules, but should you wish to play a class/subclass from the 2014 variant, this is also welcome. I default to D&D beyond, but anything is fine as long as I can see the character sheet. For start generation, I use a variant off roll 4d6 drop the lowest with some rails, and the option of opting for point buy after rolling should you wish.
