About the adventure
Sitting in a burned out clearing, the survey ship Eleanor Moraes looks just like it did 45 hours ago. But now, most of its crew lies positioned in the thick alien brush around the clearing - silent and unseen. They're all tough and resourceful - experts in their fields. On board is the first officer, a skilled and determined Star Law ranger who is also a ruthless mutineer. He alone controls the ship's laser batteries and defense systems. He has just started the pre-launch ignition sequence. Within an hour at most, the ship will lift off, stranding your expedition party. If he lifts off, chances of rescue are slim without the ship's subspace radio. Can your expedition party retake the ship? Or will you live out your lives on this hostile alien planet? I’m running this classic Star Frontiers module for those who want to experience this excellent RPG from the 80s and for those who want to play it again, especially if they haven’t had a chance to play it in a while. It will be a short campaign - just a few sessions - unless players want to continue beyond this module.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello! I’m Ron, a Game Master focused on providing engaging role-playing, exploration, and challenging combat encounters. I customize games to suit player preferences while ensuring they have agency within the D&D pillars. My RPG journey began with AD&D, and I've been running games nearly as long as I've been playing, covering most D&D editions and currently running D&D 5E, Pathfinder 2, and Daggerheart. While I'm no rules encyclopedia, I prioritize "rulings over rules" to keep the game flowing, correcting any missed rules as we go. One of my favorite aspects of RPGs is collaboratively building narratives with players, integrating character backstories into our campaigns, whether homebrew or published. I believe that if you're paying for a DM, you deserve professionalism. I’ll be punctual, prepared, and respectful, treating you as a valued customer. I communicate well and am easily reachable between sessions. For online play, I use tools like Foundry VTT, Roll20, Discord, DNDBeyond, and Demiplane/Pathfinder Nexus. If you’re looking for a fun and satisfying RPG experience, give one of my games a try!
