Whispers of the Lich King: A Multiversal Adventure

🐿️Hey guys, Squirrel here!🐿️ 😮With over 2 years and now over 800 games, I've realized that if you work hard enough you can truly turn your passion into work. And as they say if you love your job, you never work a day in your life! With 12 years in TTRPGs and character driven acting work, I excel at bringing my players into the spotlight where no matter your skill level, you can shine your brightest. With experience running for friend groups, convention groups and online pick-up groups via paid and unpaid platforms you can be sure that my fluid improvisational style of running a game is built to make sure that each player feels: Important to the overall story, thoroughly invested and engaged in the story and most importantly, is having fun! 🎲 During my session you can expect 🎲 📖 Fantastic and Descriptive Storytelling 📖 Each scene you pass through, each creature you see... I adore describing the sights, sounds and smells around so you as a player can truly feel lost in the adventure. Even in module books, expect descriptions to never just sound as though "they were read off of a page"! I use a mixture of detailed descriptions, sound effects and physical foley work to make my worlds really feel as though they are jumping out of your headset. 🎭 A passion for group collaboration and roleplay 🎭 Roleplay is a huge passion of mine, and as such is a huge part of my tables. You can expect a wide variety of NPCs to roleplay with, however I heavily encourage inter-party roleplay in my sessions! Not only is it an awesome way to make some new friends at the table but is a great way to develop your character's relationship with the other characters in the party. During my sessions, I allow players to roleplay in scenes without the worry of the GM forcing the game forward. If the whole party is having a great time chatting at the tavern with a new NPC they met, then why should we stop them from having a great time? It's a great way to work on your roleplay skills if you are still new to the idea! 🌍 A living world that you can affect 🌍 In a Squirrel game, your characters are just as much a part of the world as the NPCs you interact with. Backstories as well as mid-campaign actions all have reactions, consequences and/or rewards. NPCs and locations are dynamic, descriptive and feel alive (Until they aren't alive anymore...). Time passes in places even when the party has left instead of coming to a pause, allowing different developments to occur each and every time the party comes to a location, regardless if they've been there before!. As they say in RPGs... "Squirrel will remember that." 🤝 Patience and Understanding 🤝 As a GM who has run for players of all skill levels for over 12 years now, I can gladly say that everyone starts somewhere. Some players are very skilled at playing TTRPGs but have no skills when it comes to Virtual Tabletops and vice-versa. No matter your level of skill in whichever part of playing, my tables and community are two of the most accepting and patient places that I've seen on the internet. As a person who frequently hosts photoshoots, meetups and TTRPG games at conventions around the country, I've handled groups of all ages for TTRPG sessions as well as organized photoshoots and have also helped organize major unofficial meetups for large fanbases such as Dimension 20, Dropout and Baldur's Gate 3. You can be sure that no matter what type of question you have, I've heard it before and am more than willing to help make your experience easier, better and more enjoyable. 🫂 Outside of StartPlaying 🫂 I also run a TTRPG community!
