About the adventure

Join your own Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Adventure Path! Individual players welcome. No experience with D&D or Fantasy Grounds necessary. A strange cult has been attacking settlements, across the North. Dragons descend from the sky, and the people flee in terror. True heroes are needed, to stand against the tide of chaos and destruction. Who will answer the call? Create a hero for the struggle ahead: a Dwarven Cleric, an Elven Ranger, a Human Wizard, a Dragonborn Paladin, or maybe a Tiefling Rogue. Curious about Dungeons & Dragons? Maybe you've played Baldur's Gate 3, or watched Critical Role? If you're itching to play, but don't know where to start, *this* is your game!

I love introducing the game to new players, so if you're unsure of the rules, or new to online role playing games, give one of my games a try! Character creation

Creating your character

Players may participate in a free 'Session 0' for character generation. Characters can be created in D&D Beyond, but we will work together to transfer their details to Fantasy Grounds. Player options will be restricted to the 2024 Player's Handbook * No Unearthed Arcana content

The current party

Every other Saturday - Now recruiting level 2. The current party is a Halfling Rogue, A Human Ranger and a Human Cleric. What do you want to play?

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need profiles for Discord and Fantasy Grounds (basic access for both is free). No experience with D&D, Fantasy Grounds, or Discord required. Reach out if you're not sure how to get started!

What Scott N brings to the table

DM is a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license holder (players join and use FGU for free).DM is a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license holder (players join and use FGU for free). By joining the campaign in Fantasy Grounds, you will get access to all of the content you need.

Homebrew rules

I stick to the rules as written, rather than make you learn house rules--but if you want to *bend* the rules, describe something cool and cinematic, and it just might work!

Safety

How Scott N creates a safe table

Players will participate in Session 0, and review Lines & Veils. The Digital Deck of Player Safety will be part of this process. In addition, I have a Fantasy Grounds extension that allows users to anonymously submit requests to signal discomfort with subject matter (X, N & O's).
