Creating your character
These will be "veteran" stories - former soldiers who are now someone else. I'd like to start everyone off with two ranks of Solo and two ranks of another role. Maybe you've become a "Eurosolo" (Solo/Rockerboy) like Silverhand? Maybe you're a "War Correspondent" (Solo/Media) and Night City is just another warzone. We will be discussing character generation during session 0.
There will be a session zero, please do not create a character before this. I will be using a variant of character creation where each player will be a solo/x role hybrid as a veteran. More on this will be discussed in session 0. If you'd like to play please feel free to sign up! I would ask that in your application you include: Your pronouns, your experience with TTRPGs (none is ok!), your experience with Cyberpunk (2020, RED, 2077, Edgerunners - heck maybe you're just a Gibson fan) and the style of game you like to play. Why am I asking for a novel? Your message is passed on to the existing players and they can determine if they think you'd be a good fit (this is as much or more they player's game as it is mine). Don't be shy! They almost never say no!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To prep for the game players should have accounts for discord and the forge-vtt.com. Beginners are welcome and I'll be providing links to the rules during session 0 to look over. Please do NOT come with a pre-made character, there is NOTHING I hate more than saying no to a great character because it doesn't fit well with the current story.
What Aran brings to the table
I'll be providing: - A Foundry VTT environment. - A discord Server - A suitable Cyberpunk Soundtrack - Some game automation. - Voicemails from NPCs? I'm definitely a rule of cool GM. Ultimately I want you as the players to succeed. I just don't want it to be easy. ;-)
