About the adventure
PaB: The Shattered Obelisk plunges adventurers into a high-stakes mystery as ancient obelisks, powerful relics of forgotten magic, begin to crumble across the land. Unravel the secrets behind the obelisks’ destruction and face off against sinister cults, ancient guardians, and otherworldly forces bent on reshaping reality. With the fate of the realms at stake, players must delve into dangerous ruins, solve cryptic puzzles, and uncover forbidden truths. Will you restore the balance, or will the shattered obelisks unleash a power too great to contain? Perfect for lovers of intrigue, exploration, and epic combat!
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
We'll be using the 2024 rules for this campaign, but will be adapting some content from the 2014 rule set. Please reach out if you have any questions. Current level: 5 Currently the party has secured Wave Echo Cave and ended Chapter 4. We'd love to have you join us for the "and below" portion of the campaign!

How to prepare
You'll need a working mic, camera is optional but not needed. A good attitude towards fellow players. A Discord, DDB & Roll20 accounts (all free) No D&D experience needed!
What I provide
Along with a great attitude & years of experience, I bring 1600+ hours of Roll20 map building and campaign time. I also supply a private Discord server and custom character art to help with immersion. (I like to make movie posters of upcoming sessions with PCs, to help build excitement) I'd also love to weave your backstory into the setting of Phandelver itself!

How will character creation work
☆We'll be trying out the 2024 rule set, but adapting some things from the 2014 set. ☆Point buy for ability scores. ☆Starting equipment from class and background, starting wealth will also be given depending on level of PC. ☆If you need help cresting your character, no worries! I'll be more than happy to help create your PC!
