About me
Hello! My name is Tyler, I’ve been an avid player of D&D and Pathfinder for nearly 18 years and have been a dedicated Dungeon Master for over 12 of those years now. As the forever DM for my real-life groups, I bring extensive experience in running Modules, Adventure Paths, and creating Homebrew content. I also have a strong background in improvisation and minor voice acting, which I incorporate into my games to enhance the experience. I’m highly proficient with Roll20, having logged over 1,600 hours on the platform. My goal is to make every session memorable and engaging for all players. DM Style: I adhere to the “rule of cool”—if it doesn't disrupt the game, I'm all for allowing it. We won’t be bogging down the fun with meticulous tracking of rations or ammunition.

Creating your character
☆We'll be trying out the 2024 rule set, but adapting some things from the 2014 set. ☆Point buy for ability scores. ☆Starting equipment from class and background, starting wealth will also be given depending on level of PC. ☆If you need help cresting your character, no worries! I'll be more than happy to help create your PC!
System & Rules: This campaign uses the 2024 D&D 5e ruleset, with a small number of clearly explained house rules to enhance gameplay and table flow. Party Level: The party is currently Level 10 (Raw the module stops at level 12, instead we'll be bumping this up to level 15) Campaign Progress: The group has just finished Chapter 6 of Phandelver and Below, this leaves chapters 7 & 8. While we're on the last 2 chapters their is still plenty of high-stakes exploration, combat, and story ahead! Group & Longevity: This is a consistent, established group that has been having a great time with the adventure. We're a relaxed group and we joke alot, but we also can get serious when the occasion arises. The plan is to continue together into another module with new PCs once Phandelver and Below concludes (We'll be taking a group vote on the next module upon conclusion) making this a great opportunity for players looking for a longer-term group.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a working mic, camera is optional but not needed. A good attitude towards fellow players. A Discord, DDB & Roll20 accounts (all free) No D&D experience needed!
What Tyler brings to the table
Along with a great attitude & years of experience, I bring 1600+ hours of Roll20 map building and campaign time. I also supply a private Discord server and custom character art to help with immersion. (I like to make movie posters of upcoming sessions with PCs, to help build excitement) I'd also love to weave your backstory into the setting of Phandelver itself!
Homebrew rules
●Explain what your doing, if you give a good enough explanation, it could lower the DC. ●Potions do max healing & are only a Bonus Action. ●Detect magic can be used as a ritual and instead makes magic items glow faintly ●Rolling a nat 20 on skill checks auto succeeds if possible. (Nat 1 us a auto fail) ●Rolling a nat 20 on initiative puts you to the top. (Nat 1 is a auto fail) ●Physical dice are fine to use, just use the honor system. ●Flanking gives advantage
