About the adventure
As the political scene in the ancient kingdom of Taldor explodes into chaos, players take the roles of agents, advocates and saboteurs working undercover for Martella Lotheed to prevent the nation from collapsing into civil war. Along the way, the heroes must recover hidden secrets of Taldor's past — many deliberately hidden — and grow from relative nobodies to powerful politicians and spymasters in the deadliest political arena in the Inner Sea! This is a roleplay driven game where choices and consequences (both good and bad) take center stage as the players dance around the many competing personalities of Taldor. Now it's a party.

About me
Like most, I caught the gaming bug at an early age and never lost it. Got involved with AD&D and Superhero games like Villains and Vigilantes, Marvel, Champions, etc. Got into Star Wars D6 and just enjoyed what gaming had to offer. Decades later still loving it and want to explore it in this space. But experience alone doesn't make a good GM. I pride myself on getting to know my players, giving them opportunity for agency within the story. I lay the groundwork, they traverse it as only they can, and we all have fun in the process.

Creating your character
Make a character and go from Level 1-17. I can provide an epilogue where your characters are level 18, but we can make that assessment at the end of the campaign. 25 point build, you can go with anything on the PFSRD. Odd concepts are welcome, and we'll hash out character creation/backgrounds in the session 0. You will be provided a War for the Crown players guide. This is a great AP for high charisma character concepts, but remind me to discuss the Relics of Legend mechanic that I think you'll find interesting as well.
Pathfinder 1e, 25 point buy, I will have a short onboarding session to finalize your character. The War for the Crown Players Guide has good suggestions for characters, but it's by no means extensive so if you want to try something out, let me know. We have an Inquisitor, Swashbuckler, and Arcanist and hope to get one more entrant soon!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need discord, Roll20, and a microphone. No need for a camera unless you want. Having access to either Archives of Nethys, pathfinder 1E pfsrd, or your own PF1E material is great. if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
What Jay brings to the table
This Adventure Path is rife w/ social interaction. The social connections on the front end will be crucial to the party's success. For resources, I go with Discord where I'm good with either voice or camera. I also have Roll20 so you'll see a ton of maps. I use the basic character sheets to keep things simple.
Homebrew rules
You can start with an extra skill point for an extra occupation, craft, or perform skill.
