About me
What I provide: A game that fits your group. A laid-back, friendly approach that welcomes new players. Organization, focus, and online tools to help you tell your story. My intro to d&d was three beige books in a little white box , in 1978. My first hobbit thief was trampled to death by a herd of were-elk. Despite that setback, I persevered and have been DMing, and occasionally playing, ever since. I launched ColoradoGamemaster.com in 2019 to GM professionally in person, just in time for the Great Plague to make that impossible. StartPlaying and online platforms came along at just the right time, allowing me to bring my games to people around the globe.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a computer (not a phone, pad or tablet), a microphone, and you'll need to download and install the Free/ Demo version of Fantasy Grounds Unity, found here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com You can use Discord either from a browser window or by downloading the Discord app; we just use it for voice as it's smoother and easier than zoom and similar options. When you sign up, check your email for links to find my Discord channel and the FGU game table. If you need help with either Discord or Fantasy Grounds, message me and I'll help you get it together, but don't wait until 5 minutes before game time to start figuring it out!

How Keith creates a safe table
Respect for all players' identities, genders, ages, abilities, backgrounds, and circumstances is required both by StartPlaying's terms of service and by me as GM. My table uses the HALT system, which allows anyone to anonymously throw a yellow (caution) or red (stop) flag into the chat. By joining this game you agree to respect those flags if thrown, take a break, and change storyline or behavior as required for the safety and comfort of all participants. We're using the new Tales of the Valiant ruleset, which is compatible with Dungeons and Dragons but has some exciting new character options.
