Creating your character

this will happen during session 0 although I do want you to show up with some ideas in mind. You will start at Level 3 but hp as if you were level one I do this to give characters more personality but still have that Level one-20 progression. (If this is disliked we can discuss it in session 0) You will gain a free feat at character creation although half feats that give an ASI can not be used to give an Ability score over 17 Background features that give a feat are not allowed although variant human and custom lineage are allowed the feats gained from these races can not be used to gain an ability score over 17. We will use Tasha's optional rule to change any ASI given by your race to be placed in any ASI (you can do +1 +1 +1 or +2 +1 not +3) We will also use Tasha's custom background rule:) Normal point buy is how we determine stats Fixed HP is how I generally determine HP but if you want to roll you may as long as it's with me present. Homebrew can be sent my way and I will review it but any classes or will be a No. However, changing a class or subclass a bit is not out of the picture! We will not be using the 2024 rules although I am open to looking at minor rules, spells, and whatnot to approve them if you want to use them. You can use any kind of character sheet that you understand! If you are using paper I do require you to send me a picture!

Preparing for the session

You will need a decent microphone, a webcam, a decent internet connection, and Discord downloaded (With an account). You will also need a free Roll20 account! You can use any character sheet that you understand and I can monitor. If it is paper then I do require a picture of it. You don't need to create characters before session 0 just have a bit of an idea! You do need to have some general TTRPG experience but you do not need to know the D&D rules if you don't know them then let me know before the session and I can give you a 1-2 hour class.

Roll20 will be our main VTT for this campaign and if everyone is up to it i love building maps on minecraft to provide a 3d experience for that special occasion. I love doing character voices and playing music even sometimes sending my players things to interact with in the real world anything for that IMMERSION! I love the rule of cool and i am very lax.

How TheCampaignCrafter (Woot) creates a safe table

Session 0: we will go over characters so please show up with a couple of ideas preferably three one for each alignment Good, Neutral, and Evil. We will discuss what the players want from the campaign such as the alignment everyone wants to play and goals for everyone's character. If it does not look like its the table for you i will provide a refund:) Lines and Veils: These will be sent to me before session 0 and i will go over them in session 0 without revealing whose they are. I will also publish them in the discord we are in if anyone forgets. Monte cook: I will send a google form and also discuss this in session 0 just as i will lines and veils X, N, and O: can be said or sent to me on discord as we play! Open Door: just leave the call and ill pause the sesh and ill check up on ya! Breaks: We can call a break at anytime but there will always be a 10 minute break in the middle of a session! Bleed: Any bleed will be taken care of in aftercare or during the session if it starts to get very intense Aftercare: I will linger in the call after the session and check up on how everyone feels! Debriefing: After the session but before Aftercare i will do a small recap of the session and people can chime in on how they felt during certain parts Stars and wishes: there will be a section in the discord server we are in or they can be said at the end or beginning of sessions!
