Stolen Fate: Twin Destinies of the Starlit Sentinel, Ignite!
Sparkling heroes, unleash your true colors! See the world, capture cards of fate, outwit recurring rivals, and protect the world's precious free will.
About the adventure
"Stop right there, thief of destiny! In the name of the zodiac and our free will, I'll capture your cards and seal your fate! Shining Starlight Unerring Arrow!" In the far reaches of the multiverse, someone shuffles a deck, and lays out the first spread in a reading that will seal fate forever. In doing so, prophecy will live again... and the free will of all will die, subjugated under those who hold the cards. Forces unforeseen have scattered these cards all across the world, to be discovered among places and people touched by their own destiny. People like you, who know that destiny is to be seized. You grew up captivated by tales of bygone heroes–ordinary people who made a wish upon a zodiac star, and who answered its call when it made them their emissaries: "Starlit Sentinels." They would live among their precious homes and loved ones by day, then transform into and protect those same communities under the light of the stars. You've followed their agents' examples, carving out a heroic destiny of your own as you've made your way in the world. And now, a card of destiny floats into your possession, twinkling with a trinket of captured starlight. Perhaps your greatest wish has been granted, after all... 💫 Assume a magical whatever-you-identify-as alter ego! 👿 Shower hideous monsters in cleansing starlight! 🫶 Draw strength from your relationships! ♥️ Nudge the cards of fate in your favor! ⚖️ Balance conflicting fates and lives! 🗺️ Make your mark across the world!

About me
To you who join me at the table, welcome home! Through astronomy modeling to folklore research, amidst fraught years in game design school and software engineering, from comic stage plays to dramatic recitals... I've taken a twisting path to role-playing games. Each of these former roles has taught me invaluable lessons, which I bring to the table. Confidence in my ability to improvise character moments. A systematizing mind to design challenges that test characters to their limits. Technical aptitude to use virtual tabletops to their fullest. An instinct for tapping into characters' hidden motives and how they can elevate drama. And an abiding appreciation for the shared humanity that binds us all together. Let us weave new stories together, full of mirth and mischief, love and laughter, and no shortage of groan-inducing puns.

Knows the Rules
Saoirse is one of the best GMs I ever had the pleasure of playing with. She is extremely knowledgeable about the game and can really feel the character concepts you want to go with and recommend material for it. At the same time she is prepared for anything and adapts the situation to it. Her roleplaying skills are also on par. If you want really good roleplay paired with some of the toughest fights you ever had look no further, because you found your one stop for everything !
Saoirse is incredibly knowledgeable of the rules, designs fun and uniquely balanced combats that will always have the players on their toes, and will work with you to bring your character fantasy to its maximum potential. If you're looking for a GM, Saoirse is the best around!
Saoirse is without a doubt the best GM I've ever played with. She runs a very well organized table, and the massive amount of effort she puts in is very clear. In addition, she's very willing to "play ball" with inane ideas or concepts, being willing to throw as much craziness at me as I throw at her. I recommend her with a shining 5 stars, she will not disappoint!
Thank you for the session! I felt like I had enough room to explore the mechanics of the game and try things out, and as a new player I felt like having some options laid out of what I could try was really helpful too. Also the visuals were amazing, seeing your actions in real time was very entertaining!
Character creation
Creating your character
Prior to your first session, create a character of level and wealth matching the party in your game's Foundry server. I recommend a premium account on Pathbuilder (https://pathbuilder2e.com/), which supports character creation using the table's variant rules and allow for easy import into Foundry via the Pathmuncher module (https://foundryvtt.com/packages/pathmuncher). For detailed character creation options and restrictions, refer to the "Homebrew Rules" section. For information about the current party composition and any third-party rules the table has agreed to use, see the "Recruitment Notes" section. You're also welcome to use the game's dedicated character creation channel on Discord to propose builds and coordinate with other players, or to use the GM as a resource for answering questions or importing characters into the game server.

How Saoirse, Veil Adept creates a safe table
Stolen Fate presents action and adventure that abides by the Pathfinder Baseline guidelines set forth in Player Core (https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=488), with an emphasis on fighting fiends. Players may also want to use the game's magical girl aesthetics as a foundation for exploring some of that genre's signature themes: relationships, coming of age, contested visions of womanhood, the tension between responsibility and desire, and so on. To give the table the freest hand to explore these themes comfortably, I require that all player characters be of at least young adult age for their ancestry. If you're new to one of my tables, be sure to fill out my entrance survey (accessible through preparation materials), so that the table can account for your lines and veils in advance.
