The games focus on storytelling and character development as well as personal, environmental, and political horror. In Hunter, you play the role of a mortal, a human who has or will soon learn the truth and find themselves opposing these overwhelming forces of darkness for the good of mankind. "Hunt Across the States" is a series of Hunter: the Reckoning chronicles taking place in the United States of America. The self-proclaimed land of the free, and one with a whole host of supernatural forces freely haunting its diverse landscapes. From the well-known cryptids like the chupacabra of the southwest or the Jersey Devil of the east, to the lesser-known local folklore like the Dogman, the Jackalope, or the Pig Lady. Some are just tales, while others are very, very real. You'll have to investigate and determine which is which, and use every resource available to you to level the playing field between you and the supernatural.
