About the adventure
Elderas is a massive city, built upon a ley line, a huge well of magic and energy ripe for the harvest. Its multilayered walls and arcane defense towers keep residents safe from the prowling monsters outside. Most people have never seen outside the walls but that does not stop adventurers from attempting conquest and searching for treasure. But when the city's defenses fail will a new group of heroes rise up in the footsteps of the last? This is a very character focused game, aside from the opening the game will heavily depend on the characters and their stories and how those stories effect the world. I will lean heavily into character backstory integration and allow the players to go where they want and move at their own pace in this story with moments for everyone to shine. A high magic setting plenty of opportunities to explore.

Creating your character
Characters will start at level 3 and I can help build your character with you over discord on DnD Beyond. Characters will be made before session 1 and stats will be discussed during creation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need at least a mic, access to Discord and a way to roll dice. A DnD Beyond account is recommended as is an OwlBear Rodeo account.
What Kat brings to the table
I have a lot of custom maps and music, I'm a rule of cool dm with Dnd Beyond access and a lot of books on there. I also have a hero forge subscription and will model characters, if you would like your character drawn instead I also have a server artist.

How Kat creates a safe table
Players will be asked to message me any triggers or topics they would like to avoid, and I will anonymously put them into a shared chat so the others know what to avoid. If an incident were to occur the Player would be welcome to take a break and dm me about it.
