About the adventure
Get to know the setting of Greyhawk, learn the 2024 rules, and experience what a campaign is like. We'll be following some of the Greyhawk adventures from the 2024 Dungeon Masters Guide at first, with additional encounters and a culminating story arc. This will span at least levels 1 through 6 across about 10-20 sessions, so you can get a feel for creating a character and progressing individually and as a party. The campaign could extend further beyond this introductory story arc if the group wants.

Hi, I'm Sofia (she/they). I've played TTRPGs for over 20 years and GMed various systems throughout that time. I run one-shots and campaigns of D&D, Root: The RPG, Avatar Legends, and other systems when opportunities arise. I'm queer, trans, and neurospicy, and love teaching games to new players!

We will work together to build characters and coordinate as a party in the first session, but definitely think about character concepts and discuss them in Discord in advance!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have an account for D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/) and Roll20 (https://roll20.net/) in advance, and to use the campaign links I'll send to join our campaign. Also join the Discord server and make sure you have voice set up. Video is optional, but encouraged! If you're able to install the Beyond20 plugin to connect Roll20 and D&D Beyond, it will help smooth out using the two sites together, but not strictly required. What cuddlegutz (Sofia) brings to the table
I'll bring all the source books needed via D&D Beyond, as well as providing the Discord server. This campaign will feature pretty clear signposts for story progression, guiding the direction so we can focus on learning the game and characters. We'll have plenty of space for role play and character choice, with an over-arching plot to give us an epic ending!
