Patrons of the Fall π³οΈβπ
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
Great evil stirs across the multiverse. Each plane will experience these ripple effects. Now they have reached Oerth. Beings of immense power and foresight have long seen the coming tide and begun preparations. One of these plans requires the formation of a new Adventurer's Guild. Its first members recently received a summons from the planner, known to them as an anonymous patron. These members were chosen for their willingness to protect the common folk above all else. Now they meet a half day's ride northeast of Greyhawk at a guildhall the patron prepared for them. Calls for aid from people across the continent have been collected and posted on a quest board for the new guild. Their patron knows these jobs to each be driven by the ripple effects spreading across the multiverse. The patron hope the true hearts of the guild will lead them to discover the looming threat and protect the people of Oerth. __________________________ This campaign begins at level 5 and will continue to level 20. Players will control what missions are chosen and which threats they focus on. Many threats exist, making these choices have great impact on the end of the campaign.
The party finds themselves along the northern bank of the Nyr Dyv at a tavern known for its unsavory patrons. An informant helped the party learn about a Gnome alchemist held prisoner in the bowels of the tavern. The captors were using his alchemical expertise to craft sea mines. Local pirates would soon sail out from a nearby cove to place the mines along the southern border of the Horned Lands. The party sprung into action, killing the plotting pirates and disposing of the sea mines. Now, the party plans to head back across the Nyr Dyv. A dungeon believed to hold a great and dormant power will open soon but first, the party plans to assist a town made of barges that drifts upon the lake. _________________________________________________ β Party is at level 6 consists of a Circle of the Sea Druid, a College of Dance Bard, a Trickery Domain Cleric, an Oath of Devotion Paladin and a Warrior of the Elements Monk. We are using 2024 rules β
