About the adventure
You have been summoned to join an expedition to aid all of Toril, a death curse is plaguing the world and it seems to emanate from the Jungle Peninsula of Chult. Little is know of this death curse other than resurrection spells of every kind no longer work, and those previously resurrected are withering as if their life force is slowly being drained away. You will be given the choice of being teleported to Port Nyanzaru or Fort Beluarian, or you can take a ship from Baldur's Gate to Port Nyanzaru. While taking a ship will take longer being teleported is much more expensive and your benefactor has only been able to secure 1000 GP from the Council of Four to fund the start of the expedition. Your benefactor has found a wizard capable of teleporting you to Chult at a cost of 700 GP, or 300 GP for passage on The Brazen Pegasus a ship built for speed that can make the journey in 7 to 14 days depending on weather. Will you dare answer the call to save Toril? This adventure will be based on the Tomb of Annihilation adventure, it will be up to the group how closely you follow the written adventure as this will be a sandbox campaign overall.

We will be using the new 2024 PHB/DMG ruleset. Characters should start at 3rd level. Beginners Welcome!!

Woody is amazing! Ran a 1+ year campaign and it was great. Super accommodating and willing to work with players, doesn't ever say no to any idea (no matter how dumb it may be), inclusive and always made everyone at the table feel safe. Can't wait to do another session with him soon!

DM Woody runs a fun, interactive, creative table. Using all the best tools, including Foundry special effects and battle features. They keep the game moving at a comfortable pace, never rushing any part of the experience. Very laid back but a competent “umpire” for the rules, this DM is fantastic about keeping the story and details simple enough that the story flows without getting hung up on conflicts or rule lawyering. I invite you to join a fun light hearted but action packed game with fun characters and voices.

How to prepare
To enjoy this adventure players will need a stable internet connection, a microphone & speakers or headset, a free dndbeyond.com account, free Discord account.
What I provide
I will provide a Discord link, an invitation link for a dndbeyond campaign, and an exciting adventure filled with new experiences!
Gameplay details
Every campaign will start with a session 0 which will include a Lines and Veils discussion, gameplay expectations/wishes, help setting up for full play from character creation to technical setups, and discussion of X, N, O card options, as well as a shorter one-shot leading up to the actual adventure. I do not charge for the session 0, or for individual help sessions.

How will character creation work
Characters will start at level 3. Character creation will be on dndbeyond.com and can be created once campaign link is sent. Stats must be standard array or point buy unless you want to roll during session 0. Individual Character creation sessions are also an option, particularly for those who need assistance.
