About the adventure

🌴Explore the world of Critical Role's Exandria🌴 ⛵️⚔️ Race against rivals to achieve your goals ⚔️⛵️ 🦈 Jump in to action to rescue a forgotten warrior!🦈 🌊A hyper competitive coastal community is holding its annual 'Festival of Merit'. The village has come alive with locals and visitors alike trying their hand at the games on offer, all in hopes of being the winning group of adventurers chosen to take on the final trial. But you are not alone, a rival group of adventurers also want to take part, seeking glory all their own. All the fun and games culminated in an intense race through underwater caverns, where the winners discovered a secret cavern, a mysterious necklace, and received a vision of a tortured and trapped soul somewhere, pleading of aid. Having woken a long forgotten and powerful entity, an entity waiting for someone to find him, it's now up to you to rescue him. Take up arms and wield your spells as you race against the clock and race your rivals across barren fields to a deadly temple of evil gods to track down this entity. Wildemount will not be the only continent you visit as you answer the Call of the Netherdeep! Get ready to face the unforgiving wastes of Exandria, the heat of Marquet desert, and the underwater adventure below! 🎲This beginner friendly campaign is an introduction to D&D and Critical Role's Wastes of Xhorhas in Wildemount, an inhospitable region of Exandria filled with muddy swamps and corrupted forests, twisted monsters born from evil gods, and fierce unpredictable storms. You will meet colourful characters, see fantastical locations, and be helped each step of the way with learning to play the world's most popular role-playing game. If you'd love to learn how to play D&D and live your very own epic adventure, come join a new group of adventurers as you start the full length campaign 'Call of the Netherdeep' and explore the whole world of Exandria! Get ready to get stuck in to this Critical Role-inspired full length campaign going from level 3 to 12. As the legend unfolds, now its your turn to roll! 🌟 Player reviews 🌟 "I've been playing with Dan for almost a year and I couldn't recommend him more highly enough to anyone, but especially if you haven't played DnD or this is your first game on start playing games. " "This is one of my first full campaigns and he’s helped me grasp my character as well as put challenges in front of us. Best of all he quite enjoys the messes our group gets into. " "Dan is an excellent GM, one of my favorites that I've played with in 25 years of tabletop gaming. His sessions are a fantastic way to end my week... I would highly recommend him for new players as well, as he is knowledgeable and gentle in his guidance."

About me

⚔ As a storyteller through and through, I love the opportunity to spin a yarn of epic heroes and daring deeds. Which is why I fell in love with D&D 5e and, most recently, Daggerheart. But what I love most of all, is sharing this passion with others. 🐲I discovered my love of D&D and TTRPGs late in comparison to many, but I picked it up with enthusiasm and it is something that will be with me for a long time. And I hope that if you are just now wanting to get started with an epic adventure, you try it and it is something you enjoy as much as I do. 🇬🇧 And, yes. The rumours are true, as a British GM, the accent is included at no extra charge. ✨ Let’s roll some dice and tell some unforgettable tales.

Safety

How DM Dan Quixote creates a safe table

Before the game starts you will receive a Lines and Veils document to fill out and return. As a group in our Session 0 we will discuss the themes of the game, create characters or backstories, and outline any blacklisted topics, as well as how to use the X-card in the chat as we play. And when our session time has ended I will make sure to check in with each player to make sure all is well and allow some time for open dialog.
