About the adventure

Forge Legends in the Orcish Heartland! Join Triumph of the Tusk and become part of Belkzen’s history! Answer Ardax the White-Hair's call to unite orc clans and secure their future. As dignitaries in this high-stakes mission, you’ll brave deadly floodplains, make allies of ancient foes, and face supernatural threats that could destroy an entire nation. In a world where diplomacy can turn violent in an instant, will you lead Belkzen to victory—or doom? Step into a saga of redemption, resilience, and ferocity. The orcs need champions. Will you answer? Belkzen awaits. Will you stand with them? This campaign starts at level 3 and your character will reach level 11 at it's conclusion.

About me

Greetings traveler, I'm Shane and perhaps I'll soon be whisking your away on a new adventure. I started roleplaying when I was about 10 years old; fast forward a few decades and I'm still as obsessed as ever. I began with original Dungeons & Dragons, progressing through every edition and a myriad of other RPG systems. Burnt out on corporate life, we packed up, left the city and moved to a tiny little town in New Zealand. While spending some time soul searching I started running RPGs for multiple groups and after receiving great feedback I thought I'd take the path less travelled and see if I could make a modest living running games. I'm easy going and open minded. I see roleplaying as the ultimate form of escapism and my players get to cast off their real world burdens each week for a few hours of adventure, excitement and laughter. Take up your sword, prepare your spells, and join me on an adventure.

Character creation

Creating your character

If joining at session 0 we'll create characters together and establish links between them, if joining mid campaign create your character in Pathbuilder and we'll get it into foundry. If you are new to Pathfinder please get in touch asap as I can make help with all aspects of joining the game (learning the vtt, the pathfinder system, character creation etc). Character Creation Guidelines =============================================== -YOU DO NOT NEED TO PLAY AN ORC (but is great if you do) -3rd Level Start. -75 gold pieces starting wealth. -no item levels higher than 3. -run any uncommon/rare choices past me. -pick a background from the adventure path player guide. -think of what you bring to the party as a whole. -have an idea for your character beyond its mechanics. -although we laugh a lot at the table, refrain from making a joke character. -encourage working a personal story/quest from your background into the AP (talk to me about it). We are running this one without any rule variants. Those dual class, free archetype, ancestral paragon characters will have to wait for another campaign.

The current party

The Party is 9th level, starting book 3 of the adventure path. Berrie: Leshy Kineticist Crow: Dromar Rogue Drokk: Orc Cleric Speaks-with-Bone: Kholo Animist

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The free players guide for Triumph of the Tusk provided by Paizo is located here: https://downloads.paizo.com/TriumphOfTheTusk_PlayersGuide.pdf Other than a discord account, web browser, headset, and strong desire to play as part of a group, there is nothing else you need. Once you join you'll get the discord link, but if you have questions before hand, send me a message on here. Thanks for reading and hopefully we'll see you at the table.

How Dice Knights creates a safe table

I aim for a comfortable, safe and engaging experience for everyone at my table. I prefer open communication between my players, but also have a suite of tools available to raise issues anonymously through the VTT with a single button press and I also make sure I'm available between sessions to discuss any issues one on one.
