About the adventure
A group of mages, desirous of independence from the sects and princes of mainland Mythic Europe have opted for the relative magical desert of the north Atlantic, their laboratories and libraries residing in their flotilla. This is a troupe-style game: each session will focus on one or two mages, with other players acting as companions and grogs of the mage in-focus.

About me
I have worked in private game design as Sortilege since 2018, and currently have three RPG books in various stages of writing/editing/pre-print, to be released later this year. Typically I run games in-person at venues around the Twin Cities. I love teaching new systems and settings to new players: those who have never played an RPG before, or who maybe have only played Dungeons & Dragons before.

Creating your character
Pre-generated characters exist, and we can modify them to fit our specific requirements in session zero. If you want to create a character from scratch, you can pitch your idea prior to the session zero and I will work with you to make a character for the campaign.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Webcam and microphone access via Discord required. No other preparation necessary; a synopsis of the rules and the setting will be provided during session zero.
What Jordan Peacock brings to the table
We will use my private Foundry server for character sheets, maps, etc. Most play will be theatre of the mind. If you have a compelling argument to do something, I will do my best to guide you through how to accomplish it with this system.

How Jordan Peacock creates a safe table
We establish our baseline lines and veils during our session zero, but this is a living document and we will adjust as needed throughout play. I encourage use of the "stoplight" cards during play to encourage good play, and to use caution or stop where necessary. Stars and wishes are encouraged to give feedback.
