About Jordan Peacock
I have worked in private game design as Sortilege since 2018. Typically I run games in-person at venues around the Twin Cities. I love teaching new systems and settings to new players: those who have never played an RPG before, or who maybe have only played Dungeons & Dragons before.

How Jordan Peacock runs games
🦔 I assume zero knowledge of system or setting going in. 🦟 Players should feel safe and welcome 🦚 Players should know that their boundaries will be respected by me and everyone at my table. 🐬 Most problems are fixed by talking about it. 🦏 I am not interested in running a tactical combat simulation 🦋 The best conflicts do not have a straightforward win/lose outcome. I am interested in learning what trade-offs your character is willing to accept. 🦞 Factions, social dilemmas, and political intrigue are always welcome 🦆 I will have a firm grasp of the rules, but I will not have every rule memorized. When in doubt I will look it up if I can get an answer quickly, or I will make a ruling and then follow up. 🐉 I use a variety of safety tools. Sometimes you don't know what will be a trigger until it shows up, or something you thought would be ok isn't (or vice versa). Consent is ongoing. 🐓 I am ok with running games that have player vs. player conflict (including player death), character romances, and sex. However, these *always* require clear communication and opting-in by the entire table prior, and the presumption is that these will not occur unless otherwise agreed. 🐧 One of the most important ingredients for success is agreement on tone and genre. Games are run primarily through the Sortilege Discord server and Foundry VTT, and will use a secondary system such as Roll20 only as-needed. Character sheets, rulebooks, and other resources will be provided. There are no assumed prior purchases for the players.
