In this campaign you will explore a forgotten world and unravel its mysteries as you battle against a malevolent force intent on resurrecting a long lost war. The module starts at level 0 and is very beginner friendly while still providing tactical challenge for more experienced players, so whether you are brand new to the world of LANCER or are a veteran mech pilot, there is something for everyone. In No Room For A Wallflower, you will explore the recently rediscovered world of Hercynia. Once rich with biodiverse life, the Second Committee transformed Hercynia into the proving ground for the first mechanized chassis Now, it is a healing world, buried and forgotten in the administrative chaos of the Third Committee’s successful revolution. Only rediscovered as the new bureaucracy addresses the loose ends left behind by its imperial predecessor, you will soon find that Hercynia holds secrets that will shock the galaxy. A scarred world is about to tell the story of its wounds… "You are a lancer, an exceptional mech pilot among already exceptional peers, and you live in a time where the future hangs as a spinning coin at the apex of its toss – the fall is coming, and how the coin lands is yet to be determined."

JJ is such a fantastic GM! He is communicative, kind, and runs a very immersive and smooth game. I think more happened in a single session with JJ GMing than in any other game I've ever played simply because he keeps players really engaged and moving along. I don't know what else you could possibly ask for in a GM. If you're thinking about joining one of his games, just do. JJ's energy also fosters a great community around him, so not only is he great as a GM, but the players he draws to his tables are lovely as well. Really love that I stumbled into LANCER and had JJ as a GM to introduce me to the game.

I had a lovely time in the first session as a complete beginner, with great use of visual aids and detailed handouts. I have no issue in recommending!

I was curious about Lancer RPG and JJ made jumping into an ongoing campaign with veteran players super easy. He puts some serious effort into his game preparations. That clearly shows in his amazing visual aids, both for combat and during roleplay scenes. Combat in Lancer is a key element and JJ makes sure to hit all the good notes. Enemy variety, goals that go beyond killing enemies, battle maps that feel like a playground for fun and the level of challenge that makes you think you will die at any moment while still being winnable.

JJ is without a doubt one of the best Lancer game masters on this site, the maps are incredible, he’s very good with new players, and combat is incredibly well balanced and satisfying. If you’re looking for a good Lancer game JJ is one of the best options out there!

What I provide

I have spent hours crafting the VTT environment to provide a smooth and immersive experience for you, this includes a fully animated and interactive map, accessible to you at any time where you can view the planets of the shore and read important information. All my combat maps are in the isometric perspective and I have utilised animations and sound effects for attacks and NPC's. I have access nearly every official and 3rd party lancer module and sourcebook at my disposal. LCPs included.

Gameplay details

We will begin with a 'soft' session 0 where we will introduce our characters and lay down some basic expectations for the game. It would be good if you could prepare a character sheet and grab some artwork for both your mech and character before the session. You can find my onboarding form here https://forms.gle/F3PY21TSqxSRWPQM6 This will help me get to know you as a player better so that I can ensure you have the best experience possible!
