About the adventure

You have been invited to gather together in a court house by the governor of the city of Twodale, which is located in the Alvavian nation. The city of Twodale was one of the few region back during the civil war of Alvavia which resist the monarch, but these resistance are more of the lords and nobles of the city. Compare to the people, which belove the monarch that now rule over the nation. This governor that has called you has given you a piece of letter with a signature from himself and also the seal of the city of Twodale, and also added an extra platinum piece which is quite a hefty sum of coin to be given as a joke or a prank. You and several induvial have your own reason, and the governor promise to help you if you help them. Although is quite strange to see the governor asking for y'all to lay low about this call. For what reason this entire calling incident happen in the first place? Only a matter of time before this tale is uncover itself afterall... ===== You will start off on the continent of Vallarian, on the planet Terra. Vallarian was originally created by a group of demi-gods who escaped the Titanfall Isles, another continent that is engulfed in a war between the demi-gods known as the Titanfall Trials. However, that event occurred ten thousand years ago. Now, in the year 1625 After Calamity, the mark of arcane technology has begun to emerge. Simultaneously, tensions within Vallarian have reached levels not seen since the Great Vallarian War over a hundred years ago. The rise of The Black Legion, an anarchist group, has become a significant threat in Vallarian. This group appears to have grown larger and more influential than any other faction. Their most significant attack occurred last year when several Guilds were targeted. There seems to be a hidden agenda behind these attacks that remains unknown. Adding to the turmoil, the Alvavian Empire has risen once again. Monarchists have seized control of the Alvavian government, toppling the old parliament through a bloody coup d'état that led to a month-long civil war. This has also revealed the strategic warfare tactics of the Alvavian Monarchs, which were last seen during the Great Vallarian War.

How will character creation work

At the start of the campaign we will begin at level 3, and later down the line we are aiming for level 10 till 12 as our end goal for our campaign. We are using the classic PHB point buy 27 (points), alongside normal starting equipment that you gain from your background and your class. The background that you can choose is whatever you wish from Wizard of the Coast official D&D book or may you choose from a homebrew content that have been double check with the dungeon master. To add you are not able to choose any background that give you a free feat. Every official race in dungeon and dragon (Wizard of the Coast) can be use for our campaign. Of course for those who want to have a homebrew race, go ahead and forward it towards the dungeon master. Though I'll say that homebrew race are quite hard to be agreed upon due to the lore. Every class within official dungeon and dragon books expect some sub-classes are allowed. as well as you're able to use some classes from the homebrewed community that is approve by the dungeon master, of course with the agreement of the dungeon master is able to change or fix the abilities and traits of your homebrew classes and races for balancing the game.
